How to level up the Companion Handbook fast
Level 10 holds a Fulmintis egg, and for free players it is the only way to get one. Here is where Companion EXP comes from and which sources cost money.

The short version
- Level 10 of the free Companion Handbook track gives a Fulmintis egg, and that is the only way a free-to-play player can get one.
- Daily activities give you experience toward the seasonal battle pass, so they are the free way to level the handbook.
- The monthly pass gives 6,000 Companion EXP (also called Travel EP) in total, paid out over 30 days rather than all at once.
- The $20 Collector's Companion Handbook adds a 10-level boost the moment you activate it.
- Press F1 to open the navigation menu, which is where the traveler guide and the Companion Manual are.
The Companion Handbook is Aniimo's seasonal battle pass. You level it with Companion EXP, and every level opens more of the pass. Most players have one level in mind: 10. That is where the Fulmintis egg is.
The egg is on the free track, so you can earn it without paying. This guide covers where Companion EXP comes from, which of those sources cost money, and how to find the handbook.
What level 10 gets you: the Fulmintis egg
When you reach level 10 in the Companion Manual you get a Fulmintis egg. The game uses two names for the same pass, Companion Manual and Companion Handbook.
The egg is a level 10 reward on the free battle pass. For free-to-play players it is also the only way to get one. If you skip the handbook this season, you have no other route to a Fulmintis. That alone makes the first ten levels worth planning around.

Opening the handbook
Press F1. It opens the navigation menu, and the traveler guide and the Companion Manual are both in there. Look at your current level there before you decide how much effort or money to spend.
The pass works simply. Companion EXP fills each level, and each level opens further tiers. For a full breakdown of the tiers, see this site's guide to the Companion Handbook battle pass. Here we only care about getting levels quickly.
Where Companion EXP comes from
There are three sources. One is free and two are paid.
Daily activities are the free one. Finishing them gives you experience toward the seasonal battle pass. This is the source every player has, so it is the one to make a habit of.
The monthly pass is the first paid option. It gives 6,000 Companion EXP in total. The game also calls this currency Travel EP. You get it in portions over 30 days, not as one payment, so it speeds you up gradually across the month.
The Collector's Companion Handbook is the second paid option, and it costs $20. When you activate it you get a 10-level boost straight away. If you want levels right now and not over a month, this is the option that does it.

Picking a route
If you are not paying, do your daily activities every day and let the EXP build. The Fulmintis egg is on the free track, so this route does reach the reward you care about. It just takes longer.
If you are paying, pick between the two by speed. The monthly pass gives you its EXP gradually over 30 days. The Collector's Companion Handbook gives you ten levels the moment you activate it. Both stack on top of daily activities, so keep doing those either way.

Where to start
Press F1 and check your level, then do your daily activities every day. Free players get the Fulmintis egg at level 10 this way and in no other way. If you want to go faster, the monthly pass adds 6,000 Companion EXP over 30 days, and the $20 Collector's Companion Handbook adds ten levels as soon as you activate it.
