The short version

  1. Fulmintis is a DPS with a base attack stat of 130, one of the highest in the game.
  2. Lightning Blade Storm ends in a Spinning Slash for 26 Might damage, and every three consecutive hits landed during it raises that finisher's damage by 100%.
  3. You choose when the finisher happens: it fires when Energy runs out or when you press the skill button again.
  4. Electro Stash, the passive, restores 4 EP whenever a skill lands a critical hit, and one of its abilities boosts skill critical strike chance by 25% for 20 seconds.
  5. Lightning Blade Impact is held down for Aim Mode, fires two Electric Blade Shock Waves, and paralyzes on critical hits.
  6. The ultimate has a base power of 180, hits targets in a straight line, and paralyzes them.

Fulmintis is a DPS, and it plays like one that does not want to stand still. Almost everything in the kit is about closing the gap, landing a long string of hits, and cashing that string in for one big finisher. Its base attack stat is 130, one of the highest in the game, so the damage is there as soon as you can connect with it.

The thing that separates a good Fulmintis from a bad one is crit. Its passive pays you energy for critical hits, its aimed skill paralyzes on critical hits, and one of its abilities exists purely to make crits happen more often. Build around that and the rest of the kit starts feeding itself.

Everything below is about the skills themselves and how they chain. Evolution lines and typing are not covered here.

Fulmintis fills the DPS role, opening from a cloaked state and closing with paralysis.

Getting in: Cloak and Lightning Rush

Cloak puts Fulmintis into a cloaked state and turns it invisible. That is your approach tool. It is also the reason Fulmintis can pick its opening instead of walking into one.

Lightning Rush is the Q skill, and it is the actual entry. Fulmintis dashes in to the target, delivers a barrage of consecutive slashes, and ends in a Spinning Slash. So the pattern is simple to learn and hard to stop reaching for: disappear, close, unload.

Lightning Blade Storm and the three-hit rule

Lightning Blade Storm is the skill you spend the most thought on. It finishes with a Spinning Slash dealing 26 Might damage, and that finisher goes off in one of two situations: when its Energy is depleted, or when you press the skill button again.

That second option is the important one. The finisher is on your timing, not the game's. And it matters, because every three consecutive hits you land during Lightning Blade Storm increases the final spinning slash's damage by 100%. Consecutive is the operative word. The skill rewards staying glued to one target and punishes flailing at empty air, so the question you are really answering is how long you can keep hitting before you cash out.

Lightning Blade Impact and Aim Mode

Lightning Blade Impact is held down rather than tapped. Holding it enters Aim Mode, and it fires two Electric Blade Shock Waves. That gives Fulmintis something to do at range, which a melee-leaning DPS badly needs.

It also paralyzes targets on critical hits. That is your reason to care about crit chance beyond raw damage numbers: a crit here is not just a bigger hit, it is a target that stops moving.

Why crit chance is the whole build

Fulmintis has an ability that boosts skill critical strike chance by 25% for 20 seconds. Read that as a window, not a passive bonus. Inside it, everything else in the kit gets better at once.

The passive, Electro Stash, restores 4 EP whenever Fulmintis's skills land a critical hit. More crits means more energy back, which means more skills cast, which means more chances to crit again. On top of that, Fulmintis's abilities can inflict paralysis, and Lightning Blade Impact's paralysis is gated behind crits specifically. So crit chance is not one stat among several for this Aniimo. It is the switch that turns the damage, the energy economy and the control on at the same time.

25%

Skill critical strike chance boost, lasting 20 seconds

Crit is the engine of the kit, since the Electro Stash passive restores 4 EP on every critical hit and Lightning Blade Impact paralyzes on crits.

The ultimate

The ultimate has a base power of 180. It deals damage to targets in a straight line and paralyzes them.

Straight line is a positioning problem, so it is worth lining up rather than firing the moment it is available. Used well it is both your biggest single hit and a setup tool, since the paralysis buys you the uninterrupted time Lightning Blade Storm wants for its consecutive hits.

180

Base power of Fulmintis's ultimate

It decides whether you hold the ultimate for a line of targets, since it damages everything straight ahead and paralyzes them.

Where to start

Play Fulmintis as a crit character first and a damage character second. Open with Cloak, close with Lightning Rush, hold Lightning Blade Storm as long as you can keep hitting the same target, and spend your crit window where the paralysis will do the most for you.
