Prismana Magmarex and Ignitis: Fire and Dark typing, spawns
Prismana Magmarex takes 1.6× damage from Water, spawns outside the cave on Zephyrus Land Bridge, and Prismana Ignitis waits at Berrillin Dam.
The short version
- Prismana Magmarex is a dual Fire and Dark type, and Prismana Ignitis is a dual Dark and Fire type.
- Water hits Prismana Magmarex for 1.6× damage, because Water is super-effective against only one of its two elements.
- Prismana Magmarex spawns outdoors on the Zephyrus Land Bridge, not inside the cave.
- Prismana Ignitis spawns at Berrillin Dam in Berling Vale.
- Prismana Fulmintis gains the Light element, and Prismana Panpanta's Water Cannonade applies five stacks of Water Debuff where the base Water Cannon does not.
Prismana Magmarex and Prismana Ignitis both carry Fire and Dark. That shared pairing is the reason to read about them together: the same two elements shape how you fight them, and both have a fixed place on the map where you go to find them.
This page covers the typing first, then what it means against Water, then where each one spawns. It closes with the two other Prismana changes worth knowing about here: the element Prismana Fulmintis picks up, and what Prismana Panpanta's water-ball skill does differently.
Prismana forms changing a creature's elements is a general system with its own guide on this site. Here it gets a sentence where it matters, and the rest of the space goes to these four creatures.
Prismana Magmarex and Prismana Ignitis: Fire and Dark typing

Prismana Magmarex is a dual Fire and Dark type. The Prismana form of Ignitis is a dual Dark and Fire type. Same two elements, listed the other way round.
For Prismana Magmarex, the number that matters is its Water weakness. It takes 1.6× damage from Water attacks. That figure comes from how dual typing works: Water is super-effective against only one of its two elements, so the hit lands harder than neutral but not as hard as it would against a creature where both elements were weak to it. If you are building a team to take one on, Water is still your best route in. Just do not expect it to melt.
One thing about Prismana Magmarex is not settled. It is described both as having no exclusive skill and as having one that guarantees a stun lasting 1 second less than its base counterpart's. Until that is pinned down, do not plan around either version.

Where Prismana Magmarex and Prismana Ignitis spawn

Prismana Magmarex spawns outdoors on the Zephyrus Land Bridge. The detail that saves you time is the word outdoors: it is not inside the cave. If you head into the cave looking for it, you are searching the wrong place.
Prismana Ignitis spawns at Berrillin Dam in Berling Vale. Go to the dam itself.
Those two locations are the whole answer for finding either one. If you want both, they are separate trips to separate regions.
Prismana Fulmintis and Prismana Panpanta: what the form changes

Prismana Fulmintis gains the Light element in its Prismana form. That is the change that defines it: an extra element the base Fulmintis does not have, which shifts what hits it hard and what it hits hard in return.
Prismana Panpanta's change sits in a skill rather than its typing. Its water-ball skill is Water Cannonade, and it applies five stacks of Water Debuff to every target it hits. The base form's version, Water Cannon, does not. If you already use base Panpanta for Water Cannon, the Prismana form gives you the same idea with a debuff payload attached.
Where to start
To catch Prismana Magmarex, search outdoors on the Zephyrus Land Bridge. To fight it, bring Water and expect 1.6×, not more. For Prismana Ignitis, go to Berrillin Dam in Berling Vale. Don't plan around Magmarex's exclusive skill until it is settled.
