Does Aniimo have a gacha system?
Aniimo does not feature a creature gacha system, character banners, or creature loot boxes.
◇verified at launch · Sept 2026
What that means in practice is that your roster is a record of where you have been. Creatures are found in the world and caught there, so building a team is a matter of hunting the right places and landing the catch, not of accumulating pulls and hoping. There is no rate to read, no banner rotating out from under you, and no version of the problem where the creature you want exists only behind a paid draw.
It also changes how a bad run feels. When acquisition is randomized, a dry streak is money or currency gone. Here a failed hunt costs you the time you spent on it and nothing else, and the same creature is still out there to try again. Real money does not enter the acquisition loop at all.
What money does buy
The game still has paid content. There is a seasonal battle pass, built as a free track plus two paid tiers, so the seasonal reward line is the place spending shows up rather than the creature roster.
There is also a character creation and customization system, which is the usual home for cosmetic purchases in games shaped like this one. Treat the battle pass as the confirmed paid element and judge the game's monetization on that, because it is what exists.
Not settled: What the two paid battle pass tiers actually contain has not been detailed, so whether any creature-related reward sits on a paid track is still open.
