Sherro puddle team: Piopiota, Pan Panta and water damage
Sherro hits weakly on dry ground. Piopiota and Popota each drop four puddles with one skill, and Radiant Charm's gendered water buff still reaches genderless Sherro.
The short version
- Sherro's damage is weak without several puddles on the field, so a puddle maker is part of his core kit, not an optional extra.
- Piopiota's core skill and Popota's Surf both drop four water puddles at once, which is what Sherro's Flowing Water Slash and Tidal Heart feed on.
- Sherro has no gender but still receives the gender-linked water damage buff from Radiant Charm.
- Piopiota's trait gives 20% water damage to opposite-sex party Aniimo; Popota's Radiant Charm gives 22%, and Popota's ultimate buff can reach 35% by stacking attack.
- Glacy or Gracewing can take the healer slot, and Surge doubles its healing for each puddle it absorbs, up to four.
Sherro is a water damage dealer whose whole kit runs on puddles. Put him on dry ground with nothing to absorb and his numbers are poor. Give him a field of water and almost every part of his kit gets stronger at once.
That makes the team around him simple to describe. You want something that floods the ground, something that pushes water damage higher, and a healer. Piopiota and Popota both cover the first two jobs. This guide goes through how Sherro uses the water, what each support brings, and which other puddle skills fit alongside them.
How Sherro turns puddles into damage

Sherro is a burst damage dealer. He does most of his damage with his ultimate, and the usual pattern is to bring him in, burst, and swap him out again.
His kit is built around water puddles, and it is weak without several of them. Interacting with water grants him a 15% damage amplification for 20 seconds. His Tidal Heart passive raises his water damage by 25% for 20 seconds when he is standing on water terrain or after he absorbs water. Both timers are long enough to cover a burst window, so the job is to make sure he arrives with water already on the ground.
His core skill, Flowing Water Slash, absorbs nearby water to add extra water blade slashes, each dealing bonus damage equal to 30% Might. That absorption also counts as taking in water for Tidal Heart. His ultimate, Torrent Blade, briefly increases his basic attack range after the slash when he uses it near water terrain. Every piece points the same way: more puddles, more damage.

Piopiota: the puddle maker

Piopiota supports Sherro by creating the puddles his skills use. Its core skill drops four puddles in one go, which is exactly the kind of field Sherro needs before he comes in.
Its trait adds a second layer. It increases water damage by 20% for party Aniimo of the opposite sex. So Piopiota both sets up the terrain and raises the ceiling on the water hits that follow.
Popota: more puddles and a bigger buff

Popota does a similar job with larger numbers attached. Its Surf creates four water puddles at once, and its passive, Radiant Charm, grants 22% water damage to Aniimo of the opposite sex.
The gender condition looks like a problem for Sherro, who has no gender. It is not. Sherro still receives the gender-linked water damage buff from Radiant Charm.
Popota also rewards building attack. Its trait buff scales with attack, gaining 1% per 100 attack, and its ultimate water damage buff can reach 35% by stacking attack. If you are gearing Popota for this team, attack is the stat that makes its support grow.
Piopiota
- Core skill drops four water puddles
- Trait gives party Aniimo of the opposite sex 20% more water damage
- Its puddles feed Sherro's skills
Popota
- Surf creates four water puddles at once
- Radiant Charm grants 22% water damage to Aniimo of the opposite sex
- Trait buff gains 1% per 100 attack
- Ultimate water damage buff can reach 35% by stacking attack
Other puddle skills and the healer slot
Two more skills interact with puddles and slot naturally into a water team. Torrent Slam activates water puddles within its hit area, making them deal extra damage and applying a short damage amplification buff. Surge consumes up to four water puddles and doubles its healing for each puddle it absorbs, which turns the same field Sherro uses into sustain.
The catch with Surge is that it competes with Sherro for the water. Every puddle it drinks is one Flowing Water Slash cannot. A four-puddle drop from Piopiota or Popota is enough for one of them to use fully, so think about who gets the field first.
For a dedicated healer, Glacy fills the Healer role in combat, including on a water team. Gracewing can take the same slot if you prefer it.
Where to start
Build Sherro's team around water on the ground first. Lead with Piopiota or Popota to drop four puddles, let the water damage buff land, then bring Sherro in to burst and swap him out. Give Popota attack if you use it, and fill the last slot with Glacy or Gracewing.
