Can you fight bosses in co-op?
Boss encounters, including world bosses and Alpha Aniimo bosses, can be fought cooperatively with other players in co-op multiplayer.
Parties scale up to four players across PC, consoles, and mobile on the same server.
The continent of Idyll is not a persistently shared open world, so guests must be invited directly into your session before tracking down targets together. You do not need to stand next to each other to send an invite, and platform differences will not block you as long as everyone shares the same regional server.
Large bosses are built specifically with group coordination in mind. During these fights, teammates can revive downed players to keep the attempt alive. Turning on Companion Mode draws a visible distance tether between partners, helping the party stick together while traveling between encounter locations across the map without losing each other.
While world bosses and Alpha Aniimo welcome full teams, the main campaign cannot be shared. Story progression remains strictly solo, meaning co-op sessions are reserved for open-world exploration, trading, and hunting down high-threat targets.
