Rose Tower Woods: Spawns, Blooms and Boss Battles
Where Melloblum and Grisbow live in Rose Tower Woods, how to reach the Dazmand area, and why Prismana Melobloom is only around until 5 October.

Rose Tower Woods packs a lot into one region. It has fixed homes for Melloblum and Grisbow, a Bloom that brings out a Prismana, a weekend mass spawn, and its own event area. On top of that, a timed rotation is running right now.
This guide covers the Aniimo spawns in Rose Tower Woods first, then the Prismana variants and how to trigger them, then the boss side of the region. The Prismana Melobloom window closes on 5 October, so that section matters most this week.
Aniimo spawns in Rose Tower Woods
Melloblum is the one most players come here for. It lives around White Rose Tower. Its habitat is at the bottom of the maze near the waypoint, so take the waypoint and work downward instead of searching the tower grounds from the top. It also shows up during the Vein Abundance event.
Grisbow is easier to pin down. It lives in the Bear Cave North and nowhere else in the region.
On weekends the region runs a Mass Surge, and the mass-spawn Aniimo for Rose Tower Woods is Budsquire. If Budsquire is what you need, plan your session for a weekend. For where these creatures sit compared with every other region, the site's spawn locations guide has the full list.
Prismana Melobloom and the Vein Abundance window
Prismana Melobloom spawns in Rose Tower Woods during the Vein Abundance event rotation, from 28 September to 5 October. That window is open now and it is short. If you want one, go now, because the rotation ends on 5 October.
Vein Abundance is also one of the times regular Melloblum appears, so a session spent here during the event covers both. Head for the maze bottom near the waypoint, where Melloblum normally lives, and use that as your base.
Blooms, offerings and the Prismana Grizzbolt
The region's other Prismana works differently. Prismana Grizzbolt spawns in Rose Tower Woods after you activate the local Bloom. It is not tied to a date, so you can do it whenever you are here.
Melloblum can also be nurtured at a designated plant in Rose Tower Woods. Nurturing runs on offerings: submitting one triggers a group appearance nurture event and decides which of two Aniimo spawns. The bloom shard offerings guide explains how to choose, so read that before spending anything.
Finding the Dazmand event area
The Dazmand event area is in Rose Tower Woods, beneath the stage. From the fast travel beacon, head straight north. You do not need to search around the stage for an entrance; the area is directly below it.
Boss battles and Alpha Aniimo
Rose Tower Woods is also a place to fight, and the reward for the first fight is the best one. The first time you defeat an Alpha Aniimo you get an Irisalis petal, and that first-win petal costs no energy. Every Alpha you have not beaten yet is a free petal.
Some Aniimo evolutions require defeating an Alpha variant of the same species. If an evolution has stalled, check whether it needs an Alpha win before you grind for anything else.
You do not have to do this alone. Aniimo has online co-op, and world bosses and Alpha Aniimo bosses can both be fought with other players. A co-op group can also explore the open world together, trade Aniimo and share other activities, so a friend farming Melloblum with you can also help with the Alpha fights.
Where to start
This week, put Prismana Melobloom first because it leaves on 5 October. Everything else waits for you: Melloblum at the maze bottom, Grisbow in the Bear Cave North, Budsquire on weekends and Prismana Grizzbolt whenever you activate the Bloom. Beat each Alpha once for its free petal, and bring a friend if a fight is too hard alone.
