Is Aniimo coming to the Nintendo Switch?

The platforms that are confirmed are PC and current-generation consoles. On PC that means Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store version that comes with Xbox on PC, plus an optional standalone client if you would rather not go through a storefront at all. On console it means PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro, where the game is not an exclusive, and Xbox Series X/S, including Xbox Cloud Gaming. Mobile covers iOS and Android through Google Play.

PC and console go live worldwide at the same moment on September 16, 2026, which lands on September 15 in some time zones. Mobile follows a week later on September 23. If handheld play is what you actually wanted from a Switch version, the phone release is the closest thing on the schedule, and it is only seven days behind the main launch.

Nothing about getting in costs money. Aniimo is free-to-play, so there is no upfront purchase and no pre-order pack required to download and play at launch. The pre-order editions on consoles hand out extra rewards rather than access, so skipping them does not lock you out of anything. You can wishlist the game now on the PC and console storefronts to be told when it goes live.

Where a platform announcement would show up

Aniimo is still actively in development, and the official Aniimo Discord is the main outlet for announcements from the development team. Aniimo.com is the other place to check. If the platform list ever changes, that is where it changes first, rather than in storefront listings.

Not settled: The confirmed list covers launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox and mobile. Because the game is still in development, that list describes what is planned for release rather than a permanent ceiling, and no post-launch platform plans have been stated either way.
