Does Egg Heist have PvE and PvP modes?

Solo players can clear the PvE mode on both normal and hard difficulty.

In this cooperative format, you encounter strictly AI-controlled wild creatures without interference from hostile players. You can drop in entirely alone, partner with a friend in two-player co-op, or run in parties of three.

The competitive PvPvE extraction drops three-player squads onto the island alongside wild monsters and rival teams. Opposing squads can attack you and take your items before you reach an extraction point. You can queue for matchmaking as a solo player or join with a premade group, and matches have no entry limits.

Rewards and Loot Distribution

During the closed beta, certain Egg Heist rewards were exclusive to the PvP mode. Extractions yield rare Aniimo eggs that hatch into regular, Umbral, or Prismana forms from any region, including fully evolved Umbrals that cannot be obtained anywhere else.

All eggs extracted by any teammate are shared among the entire squad and delivered to your in-game mailbox after the match. Extra resources and items can be liquidated for Eggshell Coins through a bulk sell-all interface to purchase items in the mode shop.

Not settled: The competitive version has multiple conflicting match structures in the game, alternating between an objective match between two teams, a six-team contest over a single objective, and open island extraction.
