Guides › Aniimo PvP duels, duel arenas and Egg Heist team modes
What multiplayer modes does Aniimo have?
Aniimo features cooperative multiplayer, including challenges that can be taken on with other players, as well as PvP.
Multiplayer spans open-world duels, structured arenas, and island extraction runs.
While exploring the shared world, you encounter other Pathfinders and can challenge them directly by sending combat duel invites. Friendly duels between friends use this same direct challenge system.
Structured competitive PvP takes place in Metropolis, the floating sky city, which features dedicated arena modes for 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 matches.
Egg Heist and Team Modes
Operation: Egg Heist provides hybrid PvPvE gameplay. Teams drop in to harvest resources, fight wild creatures, and secure Aniimo eggs before extracting. Carrying the central giant egg transforms your Pathfinder into the egg itself, stripping your combat skills and requiring your squad to escort you to evacuation. Looted eggs are shared with the whole squad and arrive in your in-game mailbox after the match.
The mode also offers a cooperative PvE route. You can run the PvE version solo or with a partner as a two-player team, selectable across normal and hard mode. A separate PvE-only cooperative extraction run is offered as Team Mode. Matchmaking accommodates solo players as well as three-player squads.
Not settled: The map for Egg Heist is referred to as both the Lost Islands and the Lost Isles, and match rules range from six three-player teams fighting over a single objective to two-team objective races.
