Guides › How to Catch Legendary Aniimo
What does the Wind Chaser's Departure Anipod give?
Aniimo caught with the Wind Chaser's Departure premium legendary Anipod, also called Departure of the Wind, carry exclusive seasonal perks: they are guaranteed to appear in sparkling form and to have perfect innate potential.
Both perks are guarantees, so the catch skips two rolls you would otherwise be gambling on. You never have to hope for a sparkling version, and you never have to chase a better innate potential roll on that creature. Whatever you throw it at comes out as good as that Aniimo gets on both counts.
The pod also carries the certainty of other crafted legendary pods. Catches with special crafted pods always succeed, and the Wind Chaser's Departure is the pod used on the Iris legendary encounter. Alpha Aniimo caught with the premium capture device are guaranteed to be shiny as well, so a big Alpha is a natural target if you want the sparkling result on something rare.
How you get one
The Wind Chaser's Departure is not your first legendary pod. You craft the Irisalis Anipod first, and after that you can spend more Iris Petals to craft this second one. It costs 49 Iris Petals.
Plan your Petals with that in mind. They are also an event shop currency, so spending them there early can leave you short for the pod. Legendary encounters can only be attempted once and a legendary Aniimo can only be captured once per account, so a pod that guarantees sparkling form and perfect potential is the difference between a permanent standard catch and a permanent perfect one.
Not settled: The perks are tied to the Iris legendary encounter and to Alpha Aniimo. Whether the pod can be thrown at ordinary wild Aniimo with the same result is not settled.
