How many players can play Egg Heist together?

Egg Heist supports solo play or cooperative parties of up to three players.

You can complete runs alone on normal and hard mode or enter as a group.

Aniimo caps your squad at three for this mode, even though general invite-only co-op outside Egg Heist allows four players. In PvE Team Mode, you can run entirely alone without a partner or pair up as a two-player team with a friend.

Running in a squad changes how the objective is transported. When carrying the central giant egg, a player transforms into it and loses all combat abilities, depending on teammates for protection during the escort to the evacuation boat. The carrier can press C to untwine and set the egg down temporarily.

Loot Sharing and Individual Extraction

Eggs gathered by any squad member benefit the whole party. Every Aniimo egg looted or extracted by a teammate during the run is shared across the entire team and delivered to your in-game mailbox after the match.

Extraction does not require the entire squad to leave together. Once a player finishes a personal goal, such as submitting an Aniimo egg or gathering a set target of Eggshell Coins, that player can extract alone at the escape boat without waiting for teammates.

Opposing Teams

When queuing for PvPvE matches, three-player teams drop into the Lost Isles to fight wild monsters and confront rival squads. You can take items from defeated opponents while defending your own eggs on the way to the boat.

Not settled: The total player count across competing squads remains unsettled, described both as a match between two teams and as six three-player teams fighting over one objective.
