Can you play Egg Heist solo?
Players can queue for Egg Heist matchmaking solo or as a group, and the mode can be completed solo on both normal and hard mode.
You can enter alone without teammates and extract without waiting on anyone else.
Extraction requires completing a single personal objective, either delivering an Aniimo Egg to the escape boat or collecting a set quota of Eggshell Coins. Once that requirement is met, a solo Pathfinder can leave safely on their own.
There are no entry limits on Egg Heist, so runs can be attempted repeatedly across normal and hard mode. Solo players can choose between standard PvPvE matchmaking or the dedicated PvE mode, which pits you strictly against wild creatures without competing player squads.
Carrying Eggs Alone
Twining with an egg to carry and roll it removes all combat abilities. In a squad, teammates escort the carrier, but solo players must handle hostile encounters alone. Pressing C untwines you from the egg and sets it on the ground without forfeiting it, allowing you to clear nearby enemies before picking it back up.
Unlocking the Egg Boat Safe talent provides a protected safe pocket for stashing eggs during the run.
Not settled: The exact number of Eggshell Coins required for individual extraction is not published, though the requirement was significantly reduced in the February 4 update.
