How many Sparkling Crystals make a Sparkling Cube?
Sparkling Crystals are converted at the Outpost Vendor, but the amounts are unsettled: one Sparkling Anipod is given as costing both 1,000 and 100 Sparkling Crystals, and one Sparkling Cube is given as 1,000, 100 and 5.
This one is not settled.
Both versions are shown because the disagreement is itself information — usually it means the mechanic changed between beta builds.
Check the item exchange menu under Joff at an outpost before farming your crystals.
The conversion cost shifts across different vendor listings. Certain exchange interfaces ask for 100 Sparkling Crystals to craft or trade for a single pod or Sparkling Cube, while other menus and the credit shop demand 1,000 crystals for the exact same transaction.
You do not need real money to get these items. Outpost vendors and headquarters item exchanges trade them entirely for in-game currency.
Other ways to obtain Sparkling Cubes
If you do not want to spend your Sparkling Crystals, you can buy Sparkling Cubes directly with Glimmer from Joff at outposts or from the item exchange vendor at headquarters.
Sparkling Cubes can also be obtained directly without shopping. You can earn them through normal gameplay modes, elite training, handbooks, the battle pass, and various shops.
Not settled: Vendor menus display conflicting exchange rates of 100 or 1,000 crystals per unit, and the resulting item is alternately named a Sparkling Cube, Twinkle Cube, or Sparkling Ani-pod.
