Does a Sparkling Cube guarantee a Sparkling Aniimo?

A Sparkling Cube (also called a Sparkling Pod, Sparkling Aniipod, Gleam Cube, Twinkle Cube or Shiny Cube), which is purchasable with real money, has a guaranteed 100% catch rate, so throwing one at a spawned Prismana always captures it, but whether it guarantees a sparkling (shiny, dazzling, gleaming) Aniimo is unsettled, since it is given as guaranteeing that any wild Aniimo caught or hatched with it, Prismana included and including during egg incubation, becomes the Sparkling variant with sparkling Prismana quality, turning an Alpha, including one hatched from an Alpha egg, into a Perfect Sparkling Alpha, as a 99% chance of a standard gleaming variant, and as only a chance of the sparkling attribute, a chance of hatching one or an easier shiny capture, while whether it also guarantees perfect potential and perfect stats is likewise unsettled, being given both as always guaranteed since the launch update, for catching, Prismana Aniimo included, and on an egg where it overrides a guaranteed elite potential and raises it to perfect, and as unconfirmed, possibly only elite or with no guarantee of an elite result, though it does not lower quality.

This one is not settled.

Both versions are shown because the disagreement is itself information — usually it means the mechanic changed between beta builds.

Using a Sparkling Cube on an Alpha turns the creature into a Perfect Sparkling Alpha.

The cube eliminates catch failure entirely, delivering a 100% capture rate on any wild target, including Alpha bosses and event targets. When used in the field, it forces the sparkling mutation onto the target creature alongside perfect golden potential stats.

An Aniimo can hold both perfect stat potential and a sparkling skin variation at the same time. Aside from wild encounters, the item applies directly during breeding and incubation. Selecting a cube assigns high IV stats and guarantees at least elite potential, with most uses raising attributes to a complete perfect rank rather than epic rank.

Hatching with a Sparkling Cube

Hatching an egg requires an Anipod to be selected first. During egg incubation, a Sparkling Cube can be chosen on the right side of the interface. Binding an egg with the cube alters its hatching potential, transforming the hatchling into a sparkling variant with perfect base stats.

Using a cube on an Alpha egg yields a Perfect Sparkling Alpha. For a standard non-Umbral egg, applying the item provides a 1% chance to yield a dazzling sparkling style, while using it on a Prismana egg can trigger a shadow sparkling mutation. Eggs that already guarantee perfect potential or elite rarity gain no extra benefit from high-tier pods.

Prismana targets and item variants

Throwing a Sparkling Cube at a spawned Prismana secures an immediate capture. Using the cube on your free chosen Prismana guarantees a Sparkling Prismana with perfect sparkling quality and maxed attributes.

The item appears under several names across the game, including Twinkle Cube, Shiny Cube, Sparkle Cube, Glittery Cube, and Sparkling Pod. In all forms, it operates as a specialized capture device that combines guaranteed capture success with visual mutations and top-tier potential.

Not settled: Whether the cube always guarantees a sparkling variant or perfect stats remains unsettled in the game rules, which describe the shiny outcome both as an absolute certainty and as a 1% hatch chance, and list potential as either guaranteed Perfect or at least Elite.
