What are the Sparkling Cube style odds?

Catching a wild Aniimo with a Sparkling Cube gives a common sparkling style 99% of the time, a dazzling style 1% of the time and never a shadow style.

A Sparkling Cube can never give you a Shadow style, so if Shadow is the look you want, the cube is the wrong tool.

The 99% result is one of the common styles, Sparkling Types 1 to 10, and you cannot choose which colour you get. The 1% result is Dazzling, which sits with Shadow as the rarest Sparkling type. None of these styles changes stats. Sparkling status is cosmetic only, so a Dazzling catch looks rarer but fights exactly like a common style.

Getting Dazzling or Shadow without the cube roll

Sparkling Pigment rerolls the colour of an Aniimo that is already Sparkling. Each use rolls at random, and Dazzling is one of the possible results. It does nothing on a normal Aniimo, so the cube or another route has to make it Sparkling first.

Shadow comes from eggs instead. Prismatic eggs have a 0.5% chance of a sparkling or shadow mutation, and an egg carrying the sparkling mutation is guaranteed to hatch a sparkling Aniimo.

When to spend a Sparkling Cube

Cubes are scarce and harder to get than standard Anipods. Because the cube almost always gives a common style, throwing one to chase Dazzling wastes it. Keep cubes for Aniimo you will actually field: confirmed meta picks, Alphas with strong core skills, Prismana eggs, or Prismana where the colour change is easiest to see. A cube can also be used on certain eggs during incubation.

Not settled: It is not settled how many common styles each species has. The count is given as both ten and twelve, so the colours sharing that 99% vary in number by species. Check the in-game creature index for the species you want.
