The short version

  1. A Sparkling Sigil or sparkling pigment gives a 99% chance of the common sparkling style and a 0.5% chance each of Dazzling or Shadow Sparkling.
  2. A Gleam Cube or Sparkling Cube used on a wild Aniimo has a 1% chance to produce the Dazzling variant.
  3. An Egg Heist egg hatched with a sparkling cube gives the standard common sparkling style 99% of the time.
  4. A shop-bought Prismana egg hatched with a Sparkling Cube carries a tiny chance of the Shadow Sparkling mutation, which is the egg route to Shadow.
  5. Sparkling of every style is cosmetic only: no inflated base stats, no stat increases, no special attacks.

Sparkling is Aniimo's rare shiny colour variant, and almost every way of getting one ends the same way: the common sparkling style. Dazzling and Shadow Sparkling are the rare outcomes stacked on top of that roll, and the odds against them are steep whichever item you use.

This page sets out the sparkling rate for each route: Sigils and pigments on an Aniimo you own, cubes on wild Aniimo, and the two kinds of sparkling egg. It ends with what a Sparkling actually changes, which is less than the odds might suggest.

Sparkling odds from Sigils, pigments and cubes

You do not have to catch a Sparkling to own one. A standard Aniimo can be made sparkling after capture with a sparkling item, either a Sparkling Cube or Sparkle Pigment.

Applying a Sparkling Sigil or sparkling pigment rolls the style. The common sparkling style comes up 99% of the time. Dazzling and Shadow Sparkling get 0.5% each. That is the only route here with a stated Shadow rate, so if Shadow is what you are after, this is the roll to know.

Cubes on wild Aniimo are described by their Dazzling chance alone. A Gleam Cube or Sparkling Cube used on a wild Aniimo has a 1% chance to produce the Dazzling variant. Plan on getting the common style and treat Dazzling as a bonus you will rarely see.

0.5%

Dazzling or Shadow chance per Sigil or pigment

A Sparkling Sigil or sparkling pigment gives a 99% chance of the common sparkling style, so each rare style turns up only 0.5% of the time.

Aniimo sparkling egg odds: Egg Heist and Prismana eggs

Eggs take a cube too, and the type of egg decides what the rare end of the roll can give you.

Hatching an Egg Heist egg with a sparkling cube gives a 99% chance of the standard common sparkling style. So an Egg Heist egg is a dependable way to get a Sparkling, and an unlikely way to get anything beyond the common look.

A Prismana egg bought from the shop works differently. Hatched with a Sparkling Cube, it has a tiny chance of the Shadow Sparkling mutation. No exact figure is attached to that chance, so do not assume it matches the Sigil rate. Shadow Sparkling is a mutation you hope for, not one you plan around.

Why the Dazzling rate is not always 0.5%

There are two versions of the sparkling rate. In one, common is 99% and Dazzling is 1%, with no separate Shadow figure. In the other, the Sigil and pigment roll, common is 99% and Dazzling and Shadow get 0.5% each.

Which version applies depends on the item and the target, and how the rare end divides between Dazzling and Shadow outside the Sigil and pigment roll is not settled. What holds in every case: the common style takes 99%, and whichever rare style you want is a long shot.

Dazzling odds by method

Sparkling Sigil or pigment

  • 99% common sparkling style
  • 0.5% Dazzling
  • 0.5% Shadow Sparkling

Gleam Cube or Sparkling Cube

  • Used on a wild Aniimo
  • 1% chance of the Dazzling variant

What Sparkling actually changes

Sparkling Aniimo, also called shiny or glimmering Aniimo, are a rare alternate colouring much like shiny Pokémon. The colour and body markings change and the creature gets a sparkling aura. They are a separate thing from Prismana forms, even though a Prismana egg is one way to roll for Shadow.

None of it affects combat. Sparkling, Dazzling and Shadow Sparkling included, is an independent cosmetic variant. It has no inflated base stats and gives no stat increases or special attacks. Chasing a 0.5% roll gets you a rarer look and nothing else, so spend your sparkling items on Aniimo you actually like seeing.

Where to start

If a common Sparkling is all you want, an Egg Heist egg or a cube will almost always give you one. Dazzling and Shadow are rare outcomes you hope for, not plan around: a Sigil or pigment gives each one 0.5%, and a shop Prismana egg is the egg route to Shadow. None of them changes how an Aniimo fights.
