What does an Ultra Anipod guarantee?
What an Ultra Anipod guarantees for Aniimo caught or hatched with it is unsettled: it is given as a guaranteed minimum of Epic potential, as Elite rarity or higher, including a guaranteed minimum of Elite acquired potential, as a guaranteed Ultra rating or above, and as only a chance of Elite potential.
Eggs that already carry guaranteed Perfect potential gain no benefit from an Ultra pod.
Selecting this pod sets a quality floor on wild targets and standard egg hatches, while keeping open the chance for a Perfect potential roll. The pod also secures a 100% capture rate on wild targets such as Alpha bosses and Umbral creatures.
Using an Ultra pod on Alpha Aniimo, Umbral eggs, or any egg that already guarantees an Elite rating provides no additional benefit, as the pod only establishes a minimum baseline rather than stacking bonuses.
Egg Incubation Choices
Hatching an egg requires choosing a pod before incubation begins. A basic Anicube still hatches a perfect creature if the egg itself guarantees that class, so saving the Ultra tier for uncertain wild catches or standard eggs avoids wasting high-tier inventory.
Not settled: The game does not consistently define the pod's baseline, alternating between a guaranteed Elite minimum, an Epic potential floor, and an uncommitted chance at rolling Elite potential.
