What is Egg Heist in Aniimo?

Operation: Egg Heist, also known as PvP Egg Heist, Diamond Egg Heist or Diamond Egg Stealing, is an end-game multiplayer egg extraction mode introduced in the third beta in which players search for resources and exclusive Aniimo eggs while fighting wild creatures, and its format is unsettled: it is given as a mode mixing PvE and PvP, as a competitive mode in which teams race to collect eggs, as a PvP-only variant played in teams of three, as a real-time PvEvP mode in the Lost Isles where three-player teams battle monsters and other players to gather and extract eggs and resources, as an objective-holding match between two teams, as a team-versus-team PvP match pitting six three-player teams against each other over a single objective, and as a dedicated PvE-only cooperative mode with no PvP combat.

You can run matches with no entry limits, entering solo or in squads of up to three.

The main loop sends you into the islands to collect crafting items and locate rare eggs while fending off wild monsters. Resources brought back from a run convert into Eggshell Coins, an exclusive currency used to buy items in the event shop.

Carrying the central giant egg transforms your character into the egg itself. Twining with the egg strips away your combat abilities, leaving you unable to fight and dependent on your squad to escort you as you roll toward extraction. Pressing C untwines you to set the egg down without losing it, freeing you to fight before picking it up again.

Match formats and team rules

Diamond Egg Heist drops up to six three-player teams into a single match to contest the main objective against each other and hostiles. Other match types pit two teams against each other to secure and hold an egg, or strip out monsters entirely for a three-player PvP race.

Players who want to avoid rival squads can queue for the PvE-only extraction run, offered separately as Team Mode. This cooperative version can be cleared solo or with a partner on normal and hard difficulty without any opposing players.

Extraction and loot distribution

Extracting does not force an entire squad to leave together. A player can escape individually at the extraction boat once they fulfill one personal requirement, such as submitting an Aniimo egg or collecting a specific quota of Eggshell Coins. Taking the Egg Boat Safe talent unlocks a protected safe pocket that keeps stashed eggs secure.

Looted eggs are never restricted to the player who carried them. Every egg extracted by any squad member is sent to each teammate through the in-game mailbox after the match. These hatch into standard, Umbral, or Prismana creatures, including exclusive fully evolved Umbral forms unavailable anywhere else.

Not settled: The match region is called both the Lost Isles and the Lost Islands, and the exact Eggshell Coin count needed to trigger individual extraction is not published.
