Alpha Aniimo rewards: loot, drops and evolution
Beating an Alpha pays out loot, big experience and new evolution paths, but only if you spend 30 Primagy to claim it. Here is what each kill is worth.
The short version
- Defeating an Alpha boss gives you loot and a large experience bonus. It also unlocks evolution paths for specific Aniimo.
- Claiming the rewards from an elite or Alpha boss costs 30 Primagy, and that payment also covers your chance to catch the boss.
- Catching an Alpha gives you an Aniimo that is already evolved. Logging it in the Aniimo report earns Mark of the Strong, which is scarce.
- You can farm Alphas again and again for stamps for as long as your energy holds out, and they pay more at higher World Levels.
- Alpha eggs sit in specific places in the open world, and the game does not show what species an egg will hatch into until it hatches.
Alpha Aniimo are the bosses you plan a session around. They are tougher than the wild Aniimo around them, and what they drop is the reason to bother: loot, a large chunk of experience, and sometimes the key to another creature's evolution.
None of it is free, though. Every Alpha reward costs energy, so it helps to know what that energy buys before you spend it. This guide covers the drops, the cost of claiming them, what catching the Alpha adds, and the Alpha eggs scattered around the map.
Alpha drops: what a kill gives you
Defeat an Alpha boss and you get loot. You also get a substantial experience bonus, which makes Alpha world bosses one of the faster ways to level a team that has stalled.
For long-term planning, the drop that matters most is evolution. Defeating Alpha bosses unlocks evolutionary paths for specific Aniimo. So if you are looking up how a particular Aniimo evolution works and the path seems to be locked, the answer may be an Alpha you have not beaten yet.
Alphas also give stamps, and you can farm them repeatedly for those. What limits you is your energy, which is the next thing to understand.
Paying for the rewards with Primagy
Alpha encounters cost energy. Claiming the rewards from an elite or Alpha boss costs 30 Primagy, and that one payment includes your chance to catch the boss you just beat. The same pool of energy pays for other Aniimo challenges too, so every Alpha you claim is energy you cannot spend somewhere else.
The capture attempt itself has its own article, so the short version is enough here. Treat the energy as the real currency of Alpha farming. You can keep farming for as long as it lasts, and no longer.

Catching the Alpha and Mark of the Strong
If the capture works, you skip a step. Catching an Alpha boss gives you an Aniimo that is already evolved, so you do not have to evolve it yourself.
The catch also feeds your records. Every Aniimo you capture registers its species and form data in the Aniilog. When you log a captured Alpha in the Aniimo report, you are awarded Mark of the Strong. Those shards are scarce, so hold on to them rather than spending them on the first thing that asks.
An Alpha is also flexible about gear. It can equip any held item, including one already linked to another Aniimo, and it still keeps its enhanced core skill. You do not have to strip a held item off your main team to make an Alpha useful.
World Level changes what Alphas are worth
Alpha and Omega Aniimo give greater rewards when you defeat them at higher World Levels. The world bosses get their own article; for Alphas, the practical point is that the same fight pays more once your World Level goes up.
The same applies to catching. Wild Aniimo captured after you raise the World Level come in at higher levels, which cuts down how much experience you need to grind afterwards. Put together, raising the World Level makes both the Alpha kill and anything you catch nearby worth more.
Aniimo alpha eggs
Alpha eggs are separate from the boss fights. You find them by exploring specific locations in the open world.
Some eggs, including certain Alpha eggs on the map, are tied to one fixed Aniimo species and always hatch into it. Even so, the game does not reveal what species an Alpha egg will hatch into before it hatches. You learn what you have when it hatches. Claim Alpha rewards when you want the experience, the loot or an evolution path you are missing, and remember that each claim costs 30 Primagy. Hang on to your Mark of the Strong, and try to fight Alphas after you raise your World Level, because the same fight pays more there.
