How Prime Energy and Primegy Work in Aniimo

Prime Energy is the meter that gates how much Aniimo you can actually play in a day. Here is how fast it comes back, where the ceiling sits, and what it gets spent on.

The short version

  1. Prime Energy refills at one point every six minutes: 10 an hour, 240 a day
  2. The base cap is 300, raised to 600 by the monthly pass
  3. Crafting Aniipods and experience items at home draws on Primegy
  4. Special items and a special currency top the meter back up
  5. Real money buys extra stamina and bypasses the daily and weekly energy limits
  6. Catching Aniimo and spending energy are what build up stamps

Aniimo runs on an energy meter. The game writes the name two ways, Prime Energy and Primegy, and it is the same resource either way: the thing that decides how long a session is worth having.

Almost everything worth doing draws on it, and it comes back slowly. That makes the meter less of a nuisance and more of a budget, which is a better way to think about it from your first day.

The numbers below are the ones that matter. Learn the recharge rate and the cap first, and the rest of the system makes sense on its own.

The recharge rate and the ceiling

Prime Energy comes back at one point every six minutes. That works out to 10 an hour and 240 over a full day, and those are the figures to plan around, because nothing you do speeds the trickle up.

The cap is 300 at base. The monthly pass raises it to 600, and it also hands out currency across a 30-day period in an amount the game has not settled on: it turns up as 3,000 Glimmer, as 300 premium currency, and as 330 Lumen crystals. That pass has its own guide on this site, so it is worth reading there if you are weighing it up.

Two things follow from the recharge rate and the cap sitting where they do. A full day of natural recharge does not fill even the base cap, so you will never wake up to a completely fresh meter from the trickle alone. And once you are sitting at the ceiling, the trickle is doing nothing at all. Energy you generate while capped is energy you never had.

240

Prime Energy recharged per day

Natural recharge yields one point every six minutes, 10 per hour and 240 per day, against a base cap of 300.

What the meter actually pays for

Crafting at home consumes Primegy. That covers Aniipods and experience items, which are the two things you will want a steady supply of, so home crafting is a standing claim on the meter rather than an occasional one.

That is the tension worth understanding early. The same pool funds the crafting that keeps you stocked and the play that gets you out in the field, and the trickle does not care which one you had planned.

Stamps come out of the spending

Stamps accumulate through standard play. The two activities that build them are catching Aniimo and expending energy.

So stamp progress is not a separate track you have to remember to grind. It is a by-product of using the meter at all, which means the sessions where you burn through your Prime Energy are also the sessions where stamps move. Sitting capped costs you on both counts.

Topping up, and the limits on doing it

Primegy can be replenished with special items and with a special currency, so the meter is not purely a waiting game. Keeping a stock of refills on hand is what turns a short evening into a useful one.

There is also a cash route. Real money buys additional stamina and bypasses the daily and weekly energy limits, which is a clear signal that those limits exist in the first place. Even with refills in your bag, the game caps how much energy you can put through in a day and in a week unless you pay to go past it. Worth knowing before you plan a heavy weekend around items you have been saving.

Natural recharge against paid top ups

Natural recharge

  • One point every six minutes
  • 10 per hour, 240 per day
  • Base cap of 300

Paid top ups

  • Real money buys additional stamina
  • Bypasses daily and weekly energy limits
  • Monthly pass raises the cap to 600
  • Special items and a special currency replenish Primegy

Where to start

Treat Prime Energy as your real daily budget and plan crafting around it. Check what the meter is at before you log off, because anything above the cap is energy you never get.
