Capability Awakening stat priority: which stats to max
You get 35 capability points and cannot max everything. Here is where they go on Irisalis, Somniwing and Scorchhowl, and why supports can stop short of tier 6.
The short version
- Capability awakening points are capped at 35 in total, so every build is a choice about which stats to max and which to leave.
- The thumbs-up icons on an Aniimo's stats panel mark its two strongest natural attributes, and those are its recommended primary stats.
- Irisalis maxes Attack first, then Regen, then puts the rest into Break because she is usually the team's main source of break.
- Somniwing is built for maximum regen, with HP as its other recommended stat; Scorchhowl wants attack and regen first, with the remainder spread over regen, break and HP.
- Support Aniimo stay usable on minimal investment and do not need to reach awakening tier 6.
Capability Awakening is where an Aniimo's stats stop being whatever it hatched with and start being what you decided. The catch is the budget. You get 35 points in total, and that is not enough to max every stat, so the order you spend them in matters more than the total.
This page covers the stat priority for three Aniimo people ask about most: Irisalis, Somniwing and Scorchhowl. It ends with how little a support actually needs, which is the easiest way to free up resources for the Aniimo doing the damage.
How the 35 points work, and what the thumbs-up means
Capability awakening points are capped at a total of 35. You will not max everything on one Aniimo, so think of it as picking two stats to finish and deciding what the leftovers are worth.
The game gives you a starting hint. On an Aniimo's stats panel, some stats carry a thumbs-up icon. Those mark its favorable, recommended primary stats, which are the two strongest natural attributes that Aniimo has. If you are unsure where to begin with a creature not covered here, the thumbs-up stats are the place to look first.

Irisalis: Attack first, then Regen, then Break
Irisalis has her own full build page on this site, so this is the short version. Attack is the first stat to prioritise and max. Regen comes next, and both are worth taking all the way. Break goes in afterwards, because she is a team's main source of break and that job falls to her whether you plan for it or not.
- AttackThe first stat to prioritise and max.
- RegenAlso worth maxing, right after Attack.
- BreakInvested in afterwards, because she is a team's main source of break.
Scorchhowl: attack and regen, then spread the rest

Scorchhowl follows a similar opening to Irisalis. Its capability training should prioritise attack and regen. Once those are where you want them, the remaining points are split among regen, break and HP rather than poured into a single stat.
That spread is the practical difference between the two. Irisalis has a clear third stat in Break. Scorchhowl's leftovers are a balance across three, so you can lean towards whichever of regen, break or HP your team is short on.
Somniwing: built for maximum regen

Somniwing is the odd one out of the three. It should be built for maximum regen, with capability points going into regen ahead of everything else.
Its recommended stats for capability awakening are HP and regeneration, which tells you where the rest of the budget belongs. Regen gets maxed. HP is the other stat that earns your points. Attack is not part of the plan for Somniwing at all.
How much to invest in supports
Support Aniimo stay usable with minimal investment. They do not need to reach awakening tier 6.
That matters because the budget is tight everywhere. Every resource you do not sink into a support is one you can put into the Aniimo carrying your damage and break, such as Irisalis or Scorchhowl. Get a support to the point where it does its job, then move on.
Where to start
Check the thumbs-up stats, max two stats per Aniimo, and spend the leftovers on what the team lacks. Irisalis goes Attack, Regen, Break. Scorchhowl goes attack and regen, then splits the rest across regen, break and HP. Somniwing goes regen, then HP. Supports get the minimum.
