Chirpi, Tromba and Tubster: Support and Break Kits
Chirpi branches two ways: Tromba buffs crit damage by 57% for 20 seconds, while Tubster shields, groups enemies and adds break. Here is where to catch both.
The short version
- Chirpi has a branching evolution, so the same starting Aniimo leads to either Tromba or Tubster.
- Tromba's Waltz raises critical damage by 57% for 20 seconds, and the bonus scales with Tromba's attack.
- Tubster is the defensive branch. It provides shields, contributes to break, and its Vortex tornado pulls nearby groups of enemies together.
- Chirpi's Band Member trait restores 20 EP to a Chirpi family member switching into combat, which rewards running more than one of the line.
- Alpha Tubster sits in the Argent Strait below Omega Tukin with no access requirements, and the Tubster farming method catches at roughly 90% or higher even with the cheapest Anipods.
Chirpi is a small Aniimo with a big decision attached. Its evolution branches, and the two ends do very different jobs. Tromba makes your hits land harder. Tubster keeps your team alive and helps you break enemies.
Neither is built to carry a fight alone. Both are kits you build around, and the Chirpi family gets a small bonus for sticking together. This page covers the Chirpi evolution split, what each branch brings, and where to find them.
Chirpi evolution: one Aniimo, two branches

Chirpi has branching evolution paths. It can become Tromba or Tubster, and the choice decides what role the creature plays in your team.
The short version: pick Tromba if your team wants more out of its critical hits, and Tubster if it needs protection and help with break. If you can, raise both. The family trait makes that more than a collector's habit.
Tromba
- Waltz buff raises critical damage
- Bonus scales with Tromba's attack
Tubster
- Defensive Aniimo that provides shields
- Contributes to break
- Vortex pulls nearby groups of enemies together
Band Member: why the family plays well together
Chirpi's trait is Band Member. When a Chirpi family member switches into combat, it gets 20 EP restored.
That makes swapping between relatives cheaper than swapping between strangers. A team with Tromba and Tubster on it can rotate between buffing and shielding, and each swap in comes with EP already topped up.
Tromba: the crit-damage Waltz
Tromba's Waltz is a buff that increases critical damage by 57% for 20 seconds.
The catch is that the number is not fixed. The bonus scales with Tromba's attack, so a Tromba you have neglected gives a weaker Waltz than one you have invested in. If you plan to use it, raise its attack rather than treating it as a passive battery. Time the Waltz for the window where your hardest hitters are about to act, because 20 seconds goes quickly.

Tubster: shields, Vortex and break

Tubster is the defensive branch. It provides shields and contributes to break, which makes it the steadier pick for a team that keeps getting worn down.
Its tornado ability, Vortex, pulls nearby groups of enemies together. That pairs naturally with anything on your team that hits an area: Tubster gathers the pack, and your damage lands on all of it at once. It also means Tubster earns its slot in crowded fights more than in one-on-one duels.
Where to find Chirpi and Alpha Tubster
Chirpi spawns in several places. You can find it in Blitzwood, on the pillars in the Ember Pup area, near beaches, by the Bloom, and at a Zephyrus Landbridge spawn it shares with Cornet and others.
Alpha Tubster is found in the Argent Strait, below Omega Tukin. There are no access requirements, so you can go for it as soon as you can reach the area.
If you want Tubster in numbers, the Tubster farming method is unusually generous. It gives a catch rate of roughly 90% or higher, even with the cheapest Anipods, so you do not need to spend premium Anipods to stock up.

Where to start
Raise a Chirpi and take it down both branches if you can: Tromba for the crit-damage Waltz (build its attack), Tubster for shields, Vortex and break. Band Member rewards swapping between them. Farm Tubster with cheap Anipods, and pick up the Alpha in the Argent Strait below Omega Tukin.
