Companion Handbook Battle Pass Rewards

What the free and paid tracks of Aniimo's seasonal battle pass actually hand you: Prismana eggs, branching evolution materials, Anipods, and the storage boxes nobody mentions.

The short version

  1. The free top track comes with the standard edition; the Advanced edition costs $10 or €9.99 and unlocks both tracks.
  2. The premium Advanced handbook awards an exclusive Prismana Aniimo egg at level 10, and the specific egg varies across seasons and versions.
  3. Level 12, or part one of the Departure with the Wind season achievements, rewards a Prismana Infergon dragon egg.
  4. The premium pass awards roughly three to four times the material quantities of the free pass.
  5. Anipod Hypers cannot currently be crafted, so the handbook is one of only three ways to get them.
  6. Advanced adds five Aniimo storage boxes; the Collector's Companion Handbook includes ten and a 10-level boost on activation.

The Companion Handbook, also called the Companion Guide, is Aniimo's seasonal battle pass. You earn battle pass experience by playing, rewards unlock gradually as that experience adds up, and the list covers cosmetics, journey-assisting items and a unique Aniimo form.

There are two tracks. The standard edition unlocks rewards from the free top track only. The optional paid Advanced edition costs $10 or €9.99 and unlocks both, which is where the Prismana egg and the bigger material stacks sit. It is one of the game's microtransactions, so the value question belongs with the rest of the store.

What follows is what is actually on the pass: the eggs, the evolution materials, the Anipods, and what the two paid editions add on top.

Prismana Aniimo eggs

The headline reward is a Prismana egg. The premium Advanced Companion Handbook awards an exclusive Prismana Aniimo egg at level 10, and the specific egg varies across seasons and versions. That is worth knowing before you compare notes with someone who bought the pass in a different season, because you will not necessarily be chasing the same creature. The Advanced reward list also includes a perfect-potential Prismana Aniimo egg alongside evolution materials and other items, and higher tiers of the pass reward Prismana eggs as well.

Two named ones show up. Prismana Infergon, a dragon egg, comes from reaching level 12 or from completing part one of the Departure with the Wind season achievements, so there are two routes to the same egg and the achievements can get you there without grinding tiers.

Prismana Fulmintis also comes from the companion manual battle pass, but which track carries it is not settled. It is given as a free top track reward and as a paid exclusive, both. If you are buying the pass specifically for Fulmintis, treat that as the open question it is.

Evolution materials and the premium multiplier

The Companion Handbook provides exclusive evolution materials used for branching creature evolution. That is the part of the pass with the longest reach, because branching evolution is where your roster stops being a list of creatures and starts being a set of choices.

The premium battle pass awards roughly three to four times the material quantities of the free pass. Nothing on the free track is withheld from you in kind, but the stacks are smaller, and a branch you can afford once on the free track you can afford several times on the premium one.

Vein Essence is on the pass too. It is not pass-locked: you can also pull it from open-world gathering, Elite Training, catch milestones and nurture branching. The pass is a steady supply rather than the only supply, which is the general shape of most consumables here.

Standard track against the paid Advanced edition

Standard Companion Handbook

  • Unlocks rewards from the free top track only.
  • Rewards unlock gradually as battle pass experience is earned.
  • Includes cosmetics, journey assisting items, and a unique Aniimo form.

Advanced Companion Handbook, $10 or €9.99

  • Unlocks both tracks for bonus rewards.
  • Exclusive Prismana Aniimo egg with perfect potential at level 10.
  • Roughly three to four times the material quantities of the free pass.
  • Five additional Aniimo storage boxes.

Anipods and Tumblers

Anipods come through the pass at three grades, and each has a different supply picture. Anipod Ultras are widely available: launch rewards, the battle pass, shops, elite training, chests and item exchanges all produce them. Anipod Megas can be crafted at the homeland, and also come from quests, tutorials, shops and battle pass rewards, so if you have the homeland running you are rarely short.

Anipod Hypers are the tight one. They cannot currently be crafted. The companion handbook, adventure tokens and shops are the routes, which makes the pass one of only three ways to get them and the only one that hands them over simply for playing the season.

Tumblers round out the free-through-gameplay items. You get them from the battle pass, quests, exploration, chests and training, all without paying.

Storage boxes and the Collector's edition

The quiet reward on the Advanced tier is space. It grants five additional Aniimo storage boxes, which matters more than it sounds once you are holding onto creatures for branching evolution rather than releasing them.

The Collector's Companion Handbook goes further with ten additional Aniimo storage boxes. At $20 it also instantly provides a 10-level boost upon activation, so you start the season part-way up the track rather than at the bottom.

The Collector's Edition battle pass bundle is the full package: the Battle Pass itself, an exclusive doll, an avatar frame, Glimmer, Sparkling Cubes, Anipods and 300 Primoria energy. Most of that is cosmetic or currency, so weigh it against the level boost and the boxes rather than the doll.

Levels granted instantly by the Collector's edition

The $20 Collector's Companion Handbook applies a 10 level boost the moment it is activated, on top of its ten additional Aniimo storage boxes.

Where to start

Play the free track for the Tumblers, Vein Essence and Anipods, and only pay if you want the Prismana egg at level 10, the larger material stacks and the extra storage boxes. Decide before the season ends, because the specific egg changes with the season and version.
