Currencies in Aniimo

Windborne Stamps are the currency you pick up without trying. Catching Aniimo and spending energy both earn them, so ordinary play keeps a steady trickle coming in.

On top of that, stamps come from daily activities, season achievements and activities, the companion handbook, defeating Alphas, Hollow Sim battles and wild surges. The Stamp Rush event is the biggest single source. Its activities are listed under Stamp Rush in the Institute Guide, and they include turning in Aniimo reports and fighting Ultra Aniimo battles. If you want to know exactly what pays stamps this week, that list is the place to check.

Voxel Coins are what you spend on Aniimo accessories, which are sold at specific shops. You earn them by submitting Aniimo reports, which means a report turned in during Stamp Rush pays you twice over: stamps for the event and coins for the report.

The easiest coins in the game come from the Starcross Tea Party, also called Tea Time, at the Astra coffee shop. Attending it passively awards Windborne Stamps and up to 150 Voxel Coins per day. You do not have to do anything clever there, so it is worth making a habit of.

The catch is the cap. Spending in the designated Astra shops is limited by a weekly coin cap, and spending 1,000 coins there uses all of it. Do that and you get a second weekly Coil Strike Coupon as a bonus. So if you are going to spend Voxel Coins at all, spending the full cap each week is the version that pays you something extra.

Your homeland runs on its own set of currencies, and they do different jobs.

Glimmer is the food and energy currency. The homeland shop sells Aniimo food such as Growth Tonic and Energizing Workmeal, priced at 50 Glimmer each in the weekly shop. The Glimmer store also sells energy bites, which are extra energy. Since spending energy earns stamps, Glimmer indirectly feeds your stamp income too.

Home Coins pay for rerolls. Daily orders and robot sale requests can both be refreshed, and once you have used the free tries, each extra refresh costs about 1,000 Home Coins. That is a steep price for a reroll, so use the free ones and think twice after that.

Element gems are the decoration currency. They come from home orders (contracts), where they show up as random rewards rather than a fixed payout. The Harvest Moon shop is another stop worth knowing for your home: it sells furniture and recipes.

Events bring their own currencies, and these are earned and spent inside the event.

Season orders reward event currency such as Moonray Wheat. The amounts are random, like 200 or 300 per order, and work out to roughly 400 to 550 per day.

Vein Essence is the main resource in the Vein Abundance event, where you spend it to nurture Blooms. Each nurture attempt normally costs one Vein Essence once your free daily nurture charges are used up. Every attempt fills the nurture bar and draws large numbers of nearby Aniimo to the area, such as Prismana Aniimo at the Breezy Plains branches, which makes nurturing a catching opportunity as well as a progress bar.

Vein Essence comes from a long list of normal activities: open-world gathering, Elite Training, catch milestones, Nurture Branches, Holo Battle Interlinks, the battle pass, the stamp shop, and delivering Lumin Amber to the Branch. Infusing the Breezy Plains branch also awards Vein Essence at certain milestones. Note the stamp shop on that list: it is one place where your Windborne Stamps convert into event progress.

Egg Heist keeps its own economy, covered in full in the Egg Heist ranks, shops and rewards guide. In short: loot you extract can be sold for eggshell coins after the match, through the relic section of the backpack menu once it is in your inventory; those coins repair equipment such as robots and amplifiers, which wears down; and Essence unlocks and upgrades perks in the talent tree.

A few rules apply across every shop. The maximum quantity for a single purchase was raised from 99 to 100. Backpack capacity grows by upgrading the backpack, with larger ones sold in the store as your player rank and currency increase. And when you are short of something and do not know where it comes from, open the item in your inventory and press its 'How to obtain' button. It lists the sources, such as which enemies drop it, where it is found, or a description of how to get it.

Do the free things every day: attend Tea Time and use your free order refreshes and nurture charges. Spend the full 1,000 Voxel Coin cap each week for the extra Coil Strike Coupon. Hold Home Coins back from paid rerolls unless you really need a different order.
