Homeland furniture: elemental buffs, tickets and placement

Placed furniture gives 5% elemental damage and resistance against every element. Here is how to get space for more, where tickets and element gems come from, and where storage should go.

The short version

  1. Homeland furniture and items grant 5% elemental damage and 5% elemental resistance, and the buff applies against every element.
  2. Raising your RV level is what increases how many facilities and items you can place in the homeland.
  3. Placing Prismana Aniimo in the homestead is the only way to raise the number of furniture tickets you can get.
  4. Element gems, the decoration currency, are random rewards from home orders (contracts), so you cannot count on a set amount from each one.
  5. Put storage in the middle of or near each production area so hauling Aniimo spend less time walking.

Your homeland is not just somewhere to park your favourite Aniimo. The furniture and items you place there feed straight back into combat, with a buff to elemental damage and elemental resistance that covers all elements at once.

That makes furnishing worth doing properly. This guide covers what the buff is, what limits how much you can place, where furniture tickets and element gems come from, and how to arrange storage so your workers are not wasting their day.

The elemental buff: 5% against all elements

Homeland furniture and items grant buffs to elemental damage and elemental resistance, at 5% against every element. It does not ask you to pick a type or build around one matchup. Whatever element you are fighting and whatever element you are hitting with, the bonus is there.

That is the main reason not to treat the homeland as optional decoration. Skipping it means fighting without a bonus that applies to every element in the game, on both offence and defence.

5%

Homeland elemental damage and resistance buff

Homeland furniture and items raise both elemental damage and elemental resistance by 5% against every element, so the buff counts whatever you are fighting.

Clearing space and raising the placement limit

Your personal homeland includes a customizable house and a garden, and both start out covered in clutter. You have to clear it before the space is useful, so that is the first job when you arrive.

After that, the ceiling on what you can put down is your RV level. Raising it increases how many facilities and items can be placed in the homeland. If you find yourself unable to place something, the RV level is the thing to work on.

Rearranging is less painful than it looks. In edit mode you can select several placed furniture items together and move or store them all at once, rather than shifting a room one piece at a time.

Furniture tickets, element gems and index score

Furniture tickets come from Aniimo you place in the homestead, which generate them passively. Prismana Aniimo matter here: placing them is the only way to raise the number of tickets you can obtain. The full ticket system has its own guide on this site, under How to earn Bud Tickets and raise the Home Index.

Element gems are the decoration currency, and they come from home orders (contracts). They appear as random rewards, so any given contract may or may not pay out gems. Keep taking orders if you want a steady supply.

Building one of every available house structure and furniture item is a fast way to raise your index score. A full set is worth chasing for that alone, on top of the elemental buff.

Where to put storage

Aniimo with the hauling ability carry items around the homeland. When they are not busy at their main station, they move stockpiled produce from facilities to storage boxes. Placing storage in the middle of or near each production area, such as crop fields, resource plots and crafting stations, cuts down on that hauling time.

Layout and hauler workers get a full treatment in Homeland layout: storage placement and hauler workers. The short version for furnishing: leave room for a storage box beside each production area before you fill the space with decoration.

Where to start

First clear the clutter. Then raise your RV level so you have room, and place furniture to get the 5% elemental damage and resistance against every element. Put Prismana Aniimo in the homestead for more tickets, keep taking home orders for element gems, and set a storage box beside every production area.
