How to Choose Which Aniimo to Keep
Cultivation raises your odds of higher Potential Values, and one handbook reward egg is perfect-potential from the start. Here is what to check before you keep or cut.

Your camp fills up fast, and sooner or later you have to decide which Aniimo stay. The decision gets easier once you know what you are actually comparing and where the good ones tend to come from.
There are two things to keep in view. The first is the stat line itself, which is the same six stats on every Aniimo. The second is Potential Value, which depends partly on how the Aniimo came to you. Cultivation tilts those odds in your favour, and one reward egg removes the gamble entirely.
The six base stats every Aniimo is judged on
Every Aniimo carries the same set of base stats: HP, Attack, Physical Defense, Regen, Magic Defense and Break. When you line up two catches of the same creature, these are the numbers you are comparing.
Read them as a set rather than hunting for one big figure. An Aniimo with a high Attack and nothing else is a different animal from one that is solid across both defenses and Regen. Decide what job you want the creature to do, then look at the stats that serve that job.
On top of the stat line sits Potential Value. That is the part you cannot fully control on a wild catch, and it is where the next section comes in.
Where perfect stats come from: cultivation and the handbook egg
Aniimo spawned through cultivation have elevated odds for higher Potential Values. That does not promise a perfect result every time, but it moves the odds your way. If you are deciding whether to hold on to an average wild catch or put the effort into cultivating a replacement, this is the fact that should tip it.
If you want perfect potential without rolling for it, the Advanced Companion Handbook has it. Its rewards include a perfect-potential Prismana Aniimo egg, along with evolution materials and other items. That egg is the one sure thing here: a creature you never need to second guess when it comes time to trim the camp.
The evolution materials matter too. Once you have settled on a keeper, those are what you spend on it, so working through the handbook serves both halves of the job: getting a good Aniimo and then raising it.
