Prismana Melobloom: Light type and Sparkling Rose
Prismana Melobloom adds Light to its Grass typing and unlocks Sparkling Rose, a homing attack that also clears negative effects from your whole team.
The short version
- Prismana Melobloom is a limited-time, seasonal form, so you can't count on getting it later.
- The Prismana form keeps Grass and adds Light as a secondary type.
- Sparkling Rose is the Prismana form's one Light skill. It sends out a light rose that tracks the target and attacks it.
- Sparkling Rose also removes negative effects from the entire team, so a single skill does both damage and cleansing.
- In searches, "sparkling" means the Sparkling Rose skill. Prismana is the form that gets it.
Melobloom is a Grass-element Aniimo, and its kit already leans toward support. It cleanses debuffs and negative status effects from the whole team. The Prismana form keeps that job and adds two things: a second type and a new skill to deliver it with.
Prismana Melobloom (you'll also see it written Mellow Bloom) is limited-time and seasonal. It keeps Grass, gains Light as a secondary type, and gets access to Sparkling Rose. This page covers what those changes mean. The base creature's support kit and spawns have their own guide.
Prismana vs Sparkling: which is the form and which is the skill
These two words get mixed up because they arrive together. Prismana is the form, the limited-time version of Melobloom. Sparkling Rose is the skill that form gains.
If you're searching for "prismana sparkling", you want both: the Prismana Melobloom and the Sparkling Rose it brings. The Prismana form is the one that gains access to the skill. Melobloom can learn Sparkling Rose, and the team cleanse is described as exclusive to the Prismana form. Whether a standard Melobloom can also learn it is not settled yet.
Light as a secondary type
Standard Melobloom is Grass. Prismana Melobloom keeps Grass and adds Light as a secondary type, so Melobloom shows up as both a Grass-element and a Light-element Aniimo.
The new typing comes with a skill to use it. Prismana Melobloom has one Light skill, and that skill is Sparkling Rose. The rest of the kit stays rooted in Grass. You get a second element, not a different creature.
What Sparkling Rose does
Sparkling Rose has two effects. First, it releases a light rose that tracks the target and attacks it. The rose seeks its target, so you don't have to aim it carefully.
Second, it removes negative effects from the whole team. That makes it the exclusive skill that sets this form apart: a team-wide cleanse that also does damage. Melobloom already cleanses the team in its base kit, and Sparkling Rose lets the Prismana form keep doing that while adding a Light attack.
Why the limited window matters
Prismana Melobloom is a limited-time, seasonal Aniimo. If you want a cleanser that brings Light coverage, this form is how you get it, and only while the season is running.
If your team already depends on Melobloom to clear debuffs, the Prismana form changes nothing you rely on. It adds Light typing and a skill that attacks while it cleanses. That is the whole upgrade, and it's a useful one.
Where to start
If you use Melobloom for support, get the Prismana form while the season lasts. Sparkling Rose cleanses the whole team and adds a homing Light attack, and you lose nothing from the Grass kit you already use.
