Can Operation Egg Heist be played solo or in co-op?
The PvE mode of Operation Egg Heist can be played solo without a partner, or in co-op as a two-player team with a friend.
Solo runs can be completed on both normal and hard difficulty. You can enter the matchmaking queue entirely alone or bring a group, and there are no entry limits restricting how often you play.
Carrying the egg forces you to transform into it, which removes all combat abilities until you press C to untwine and set it down. Solo players must roll the egg to the escape boat without an escort to protect them.
Team extraction and shared rewards
When playing in a group, squad members can escort the egg carrier against threats. Players do not have to leave together, as anyone can extract individually at the escape boat once they personally submit an egg or gather enough Eggshell Coins.
Every egg extracted by any member of the team is granted to all party members. These eggs are sent to your in-game mailbox after the match finishes.
Not settled: Co-op team caps depend on the mode, with PvE extraction restricted to two players while standard matches allow squads of three.
