Guides › Egg Heist combat: team strategy and death penalties
Can teammates revive you in Egg Heist?
Downed players can be revived by teammates during team matches such as a team Egg Heist run, including with the Bloom Cluster revive.
A revive only exists if you queued with someone. The PvE side of Operation Egg Heist can be played solo or as a two-player team, and you can matchmake alone or as a group. In a solo run there is nobody to pick you up, so going down carries more weight there.
Going down for good is expensive. If you die or fail to extract, you permanently lose the loot in your backpack and any Heist gear you brought in that protection items do not cover. A teammate who reaches you in time is what stands between you and that loss.
Egg Heist is also PvP. Opposing players can defeat your Aniimo during a match, so a revive often happens with enemies nearby. If your partner is carrying the giant egg, they have transformed into it and have no combat abilities, so they cannot fight for you while you are down. You escort them, not the other way round.
Healers that help during a revive
Flutternym's circle heal keeps restoring HP while a player revives a teammate, which makes it a strong pick for team Egg Heist. Glacy is the recommended first-choice healer for the mode and fills the Support role. Remember that you only directly control the Aniimo in team slot one. The Aniimo in slots two to four come out briefly to use their core or support skill and then hand control back.
