How do you rank up in Egg Heist?
Egg Heist has its own rank, which rises through successful extractions on expeditions; the total currency value of extracted loot, such as an egg, determines the end-of-match rating and progression points toward Egg Emperor, tracked with egg marks, so extracting high-value items is a fast way to rank up.
You get a guaranteed SSS rating by extracting about 500,000 to 600,000 in value with at least two eggs.
A match counts toward your rank only if you get out. Your rank climbs through successful extractions, and nothing you were carrying when you died adds to it. Once you are out, the total currency value of your backpack sets both the end-of-match rating and the experience you are awarded. A single egg already makes a run worth far more, and a second egg is what the SSS threshold asks for.
Carrying an egg does not tie you to it for the whole match. Press C to untwine from egg form. That sets the egg down for a while without forfeiting it, so you can deal with whatever is in the way and come back for it before you extract.
What each rank gives you
Every Egg Heist rank comes with its own set of rewards, and those include guaranteed legendary shards. Your progress toward Egg Emperor is counted in egg marks. Your ranking also decides which difficulty modes you can pick from Normal, Hard, Nightmare and Chaos.
The lowest ranks are the cheapest place to take risks. Beginner protection is active when Egg Heist unlocks and covers your first three matches. Dying in that window uses up one protection charge, and you keep your backpacks and loot. Use those matches to try for high-value extractions.
