The short version

  1. An SSS grade in Egg Heist is guaranteed when you extract with items worth about 500,000 to 600,000 and at least two eggs.
  2. Your end-of-match rating and your progression toward Egg Emperor both come from the total currency value of what you extract, so high-value loot is the fastest way to rank up.
  3. Egg Heist rank only rises through successful extractions; a run you do not get out of does not move it.
  4. Gold-tier items and talent materials are worth the space in your backpack. Filling it with everything is not.
  5. Eggs only count once you submit them by interacting with the boat, and Chaos mode lets you extract without an egg if you meet its minimum loot value.

Egg Heist has its own rank, separate from the rest of Aniimo, and it climbs on one thing: what you get out alive. Every run is rated with points and a letter grade, and the best of those grades is SSS.

The good news is that SSS is not a mystery. There is a clear bar, it involves eggs and loot value, and once you clear it the grade is guaranteed. Everything else in this guide is about clearing it more often.

How many eggs you need for an SSS grade

An SSS rank in Egg Heist is guaranteed when you extract with items worth about 500,000 to 600,000 and with at least two eggs. Both halves matter. Two eggs with a thin bag will not get you there, and a heavy bag with one egg will not either.

That bar makes sense once you know how runs are scored. Each run is rated with points and a letter grade, and the rating comes from the total currency value of the loot you extract. An egg is part of that loot, which is why carrying two of them out pushes your grade up so hard.

Loot value for a guaranteed SSS

Extracting with items worth about this much and at least two eggs guarantees an SSS rank in Egg Heist.

How Egg Heist rank works

Egg Heist features seven ranks in total. Your rank rises through successful extractions on expeditions, and only through those. A run where you die with a full bag teaches you something, but it does nothing for your rank.

The same total value that sets your end-of-match rating also feeds your progression points toward Egg Emperor, which are tracked with egg marks. So one number does two jobs: it decides the letter on the results screen and how far you move up the ladder. Extracting high-value items is the fast way to rank up, because you get paid twice for the same haul.

What to put in your backpack

The temptation in any extraction mode is to grab everything. Do not. In Egg Heist, gold-tier items and talent materials are the loot worth taking, rather than filling the backpack with everything.

This follows straight from the scoring. Your grade is measured in value, not item count, so a slot spent on junk is a slot not spent on something that moves you toward the SSS bar. Pick up the expensive things, leave the rest on the floor, and spend the time you saved getting out.

Getting the eggs out: the boat and Chaos mode

Holding an egg is not the same as banking it. Carried eggs must be submitted by interacting with the boat to be evacuated. If you are chasing an SSS, that second egg only counts once it is on the boat, so plan your route around reaching it.

Chaos mode changes the rules slightly. Extracting from Egg Heist Chaos mode does not require an egg, but it does require a minimum amount of loot value. That makes your bag the deciding factor there: you can leave without an egg, but you cannot leave empty-handed.

Where to start

Go in for two eggs and gold-tier items or talent materials, ignore low-value clutter, and submit your eggs at the boat. Clear about 500,000 to 600,000 in value with both eggs out and the SSS is yours, along with a big step toward Egg Emperor.
