Aniimo crossplay and server guide

Aniimo shares your progress across PC, PS5, Xbox and mobile, but only on one server. Pick the wrong region at the start and your save does not follow you.

The short version

  1. Aniimo supports cross-play and full cross-save across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and mobile devices.
  2. Progress is shared only when you log into the same Aniimo Pass account on the same server; data on different servers stays independent.
  3. There are three regional servers: Aniimo-America (NA), Aniimo-Europe (EU) and Aniimo-APAC (Asia-Pacific), and they are region locked.
  4. You choose your server right after logging in, and character creation starts immediately afterward, so the decision comes before you have played anything.
  5. Accounts link through the same email address, with a PSN account linked on PlayStation, and linking a Steam or console account can fail.

Yes, Aniimo is crossplay. It also has full cross-save, which matters more for most people: you can start on PC and pick up the same save on your phone or console.

The catch is the server. Your progress is shared across devices, but it lives on one server, and the game asks you to choose that server before you have even made a character. This page covers the three regions, how cross-save actually ties your accounts together, and why that first choice is the one to get right.

Is Aniimo crossplay?

Aniimo supports cross-play and full cross-save progression across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and mobile devices. Cross-platform co-op is listed for the Xbox version. How co-op itself works is a subject for the Multiplayer and Co-op guide; this page is about where your save lives.

The platform list is wide. On PC you can play through Steam, the Epic Games Store or the Microsoft Store (Xbox on PC). On console there is PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S, plus Xbox Cloud Gaming. On mobile there is iOS and Android. All of them feed into the same cross-save system, as long as the conditions below are met.

The three Aniimo servers

Aniimo has three regional servers:

Aniimo-America (NA) Aniimo-Europe (EU) Aniimo-APAC (Asia-Pacific)

Servers are region locked. You select one after logging in, as one of the first decisions when you start the game, and character creation begins immediately afterward. The region can be selected before you start, so there is no reason to click through this screen on autopilot. It is the one menu in the opening minutes that decides where everything you do next is stored.

Regional servers

You pick America, Europe or APAC when you start, and data on different servers stays independent, so choose the one your friends play on.

Why your progress belongs to one server

Cross-save in Aniimo has two conditions, and both have to be true. You log into the same Aniimo Pass account, and you play on the same server. Meet both and your progress is shared whichever device you pick up. Miss the second and it is not: data on different servers stays independent.

That means a character on Aniimo-Europe and a character on Aniimo-America are two separate saves, even on the same account. Logging into the wrong region on a new device will not show you a broken save. It will show you a fresh one, because as far as that server knows, you have not started.

So treat the server screen as a long-term decision. Choose the region you intend to stay on, and choose the same one on every device you plan to use.

Linking accounts across platforms

Accounts are linked through the same email address. On PlayStation, you also link a PSN account. If you already have an account on another platform, it can be synced to the mobile version, which is how you carry a PC or console save onto your phone.

Linking is not always smooth. Linking a Steam or console account to a game account can fail. If it does, do not assume your progress is gone; check first that you are using the same email address and that you are looking at the same server you played on before, since a mismatch on either one gives you a separate save.

Where to start

Choose your region deliberately when the game first asks, then use that same server and the same Aniimo Pass email on every device. Do that and cross-save carries your progress between PC, PS5, Xbox and mobile. Skip it and you end up with saves that never meet.
