Guides › Best healers and support Aniimo
Is team composition important in Aniimo late-game combat?
Late-game and boss encounters require a balanced team composition including healing and support rather than only DPS.
Loadouts hold a maximum of four Aniimo, configured as one primary active creature and up to three support members. Each creature is locked into a fixed, unchangeable role chosen from DPS, break, healing, support, or regen. Relying purely on stat strength fails in later stages, where team selection must be tailored directly to the encounter. Certain Omega bosses cannot be defeated without a properly constructed composition.
Energy management and utility roles
Your party shares a single collective energy pool rather than giving each creature an independent meter. Spamming active abilities drains this supply immediately, making creature swaps and disciplined skill rotations necessary. Regen Aniimo focus specifically on managing and refilling that shared pool. Break specialists deplete enemy break gauges to trigger a staggered state, which lowers enemy defenses and opens them up to bonus damage. Support Aniimo supply the ally buffs and enemy debuffs needed to capitalize on those vulnerability windows, keeping the team functional when raw damage falls short.
