What do wild Aniimo levels scale with?

What sets the level of wild Aniimo in the overworld is unsettled: it is given both as the player's World Level, which also affects their difficulty, and as the player's account level at the time of capture.

This one is not settled.

Both versions are shown because the disagreement is itself information — usually it means the mechanic changed between beta builds.

Advancing your World Level saves training time. Wild creatures caught after increasing the World Level join your roster at those higher levels, reducing the need to grind experience manually.

The trade-off is overworld combat. Enemies grow stronger as your level rises, making roaming encounters more dangerous as you progress.

Capturing Scaled Targets

Being at a lower level than your target reduces your catch odds. Being spotted and engaged by the wild creature also lowers the catch percentage.

To counter these penalties, engage the creature in combat. Weakening a wild target and inflicting break both improve your catch chance. Higher-tier Anipods provide better base success rates against stronger targets, though attempts can still fail after the pod shakes. Co-op partners can assist during wild captures. Omega Aniimo cannot be captured.
