What is the Egg Heist carry weight limit?
The Egg Heist carry weight cap is 72 kg, and carrying more than that, from 73 kg, immobilizes the player.
Go over the cap and you are stunned and stop moving. At 73 kg you cannot take a single step, so treat 72 kg as a hard ceiling.
This matters because nothing in your backpack is yours until you leave the island. Eggs and loot are only granted once you evacuate to the Egg Port. To get there you make the vulnerable trip back to the escape boat on the beach. A player frozen by weight can't make that trip, and if you faint, die or fail to extract, you lose the whole backpack. Any equipped Heist gear not covered by protection items goes with it.
## Keeping a full backpack moving
Survival comes first in every run, so check your weight before you pick up one more item. An overfull pack does more than slow you down. It keeps you from reaching the boat at all. If you are close to the cap and holding an egg, walking back to submit it is usually worth more than one last item.
Groups have more room for mistakes. Duo and trio runs don't lose everything to a single death, and staying with your party lowers the risk of dying while you haul loot back. Your first three matches after unlocking the mode also carry beginner protection, so a death there uses up a protection charge and you keep your backpack and loot.
