Homeland and RV level rewards: incubator, eggs and plots

Upgrading your Homeland base unlocks a personal incubator, and Homeland level-ups open merchant stock with Prismana Crystals. Here is what each upgrade gets you.

The short version

  1. Upgrading the Homeland base unlocks a personal incubator for hatching eggs, and the incubation reaction module rooftop upgrade makes hatching faster.
  2. Homeland upgrades unlock exclusive merchant stock, including Prismana Crystals, which are consumed during nurturing.
  3. To upgrade the RV you need every available woodland plot placed: six for level six. RV upgrades add farming plots and are required to raise your farmland level.
  4. Home Index score milestones award toolboxes worth 22 modification tool kits in total.
  5. When the weekly Homeland Shop opens is not settled. It is tied either to unlocking the Homeland itself or to the RV reaching level 4.

Your Homeland and your RV level up separately, and each one feeds a different part of the game. For egg hatchers the Homeland is the one to watch. It is where the personal incubator comes from, and its level-ups open merchant stock that you cannot buy anywhere else.

The RV handles land. Its upgrades add farming plots, raise your farmland level and improve your daily home orders. Both systems hand out modification kits, cosmetics and passive bonuses as you go.

This guide covers what each kind of level-up unlocks, starting with eggs.

The incubator and faster egg hatching

Upgrading your Homeland base unlocks a personal incubator for hatching eggs. You can't get it any other way, so if hatching is your plan, Homeland upgrades come first.

The incubator is only the start. Your home base can also speed up egg hatching once you add the incubation reaction module, which is a rooftop upgrade. Treat these as two steps: the base upgrade gets you an incubator, and the rooftop module makes it faster.

Prismana Crystals and other Homeland level-up rewards

If you searched for Prismana, this is where Homeland upgrades come in. Upgrading the Homeland unlocks exclusive stock from in-game merchants, and Prismana Crystals are part of it. They are consumed during nurturing. Because nurturing uses them up, you will keep buying them, so it helps to unlock that stock early.

Homeland level-ups also give rewards directly: modification kits, cosmetics, extra health and access to crafting systems. Extra health and crafting make you stronger outside the home too, so skipping Homeland levels costs you more than decoration.

Upgrading individual housing components is a separate track. These upgrades give passive bonuses, such as faster farm production. They run in the background once they are built, which makes them easy to put off and worth doing anyway.

Plots, farmland and the RV

You unlock more Homeland areas and housing plots as you progress through the game. The RV controls farming land, and it has its own guide on this site, so here is just what matters for planning.

Upgrading the RV adds farming plots, and it is the only way to raise your farmland level. Each upgrade has a requirement: every available woodland plot must be placed first. At level six that means six. If an RV upgrade is blocked, check for an empty woodland plot.

RV upgrades also make higher-star daily home orders more likely, and those orders give better chances at element gems. A higher RV level improves your regular income along with your land.

Woodland plots placed for RV level six

The RV upgrade requires every available woodland plot to be placed, so placing all of them comes before more farming plots and a higher farmland level.

Home Index toolboxes and the Homeland Shop

Your Home Index score has milestones, and they award toolboxes worth 22 modification tool kits in total. Raising the score has its own guide. For this article, what matters is that the milestones add to the modification kits you get from Homeland level-ups.

The Homeland Shop is a weekly shop that sells furniture. When it opens is not settled. One version says you get access as soon as the Homeland itself unlocks. The other says the shop opens once your RV reaches level 4. If it is missing from your game, getting the RV to level 4 covers both versions.

Home index score milestones award toolboxes worth 22 modification tool kits in total, which makes raising the score worth planning for.

Where to start

If eggs are your priority, upgrade the Homeland base first for the incubator, then add the incubation reaction module to the roof. Keep Homeland levels coming so you can buy Prismana Crystals from merchants for nurturing. Raise the RV as you go, and always place every woodland plot before you try an RV upgrade.
