How to get Irisalis Petals: every source
Irisalis Petals come from Alpha first clears, two weekly Faded Rainbow runs, Elite Pathfinder, eight in the open world and three per Branch Nurture level.

The short version
- Your first defeat of each Alpha Aniimo gives a guaranteed Irisalis petal plus Lumen Amber, and it costs no energy.
- Each Faded Rainbow investigation awards three petals, and both weekly runs together give six.
- Completing Elite Pathfinder challenges awards seven petals.
- Eight Irisalis petals sit directly in the open world map, and topic collections such as Prismana Aniimo award more.
- Infusing Lumen Amber in Branch Nurturing awards three petals for each Branch Nurture level of the main branch.
Irisalis Petals come from all over Aniimo. You pick some up just by playing: the main story hands them out, exploration turns them up, and some drop at random. The rest come from specific sources you can plan around, and those are what this guide covers.
The useful split is between one-time sources and repeatable ones. Alpha first clears, open world pickups and topic collections each pay out once. Faded Rainbow runs come back every week. Branch nurturing sits in between, paying out as your main branch levels up.
Alpha Aniimo first clears
If you are searching for how to get Irisalis, start with the Alpha Aniimo. Defeating an Alpha for the first time awards a guaranteed petal along with Lumen Amber.
The important detail is that this first clear does not consume energy. You are not trading anything for the petal, so every Alpha you have not yet beaten is a free reward waiting for you. Only the first defeat counts, which makes this a source you work through once rather than farm.
Weekly runs: Faded Rainbow and Elite Pathfinder
Faded Rainbow investigations are the repeatable source. Each investigation awards three petals, and you get two runs a week, for six petals across both weekly runs. Skipping a week means those six are gone, so this is the one to keep on your routine.
Elite Pathfinder challenges are worth more in one go. Completing them awards seven petals.

Open world pickups and topic collections
Eight Irisalis petals can be gathered directly in the open world map. These are the petals exploration hands you, and they are worth picking up as you pass rather than leaving for later.
Topic collections are the other completionist source. Finishing an Aniimo topic collection, such as collecting Prismana Aniimo, awards Irisalis petals. If you are already filling out your roster, these come to you along the way.

Branch nurturing
Branch Nurturing ties petals to a resource you already earn. Infusing Lumen Amber in Branch Nurturing awards three petals for each Branch Nurture level of the main branch.
That links it neatly to Alpha clears. The Lumen Amber from your first Alpha defeats can go straight into the branch, and every level it gains on the main branch pays out more petals.
Iris Petals in the Windchasers Departure event
The Windchasers Departure event has its own route to Iris Petals. You earn them by progressing through the event's journey quests.
If you have done the journey quests and want more, open the event screen. It has a 'How to obtain' section listing the remaining ways to get Iris Petals, so you can check what is left without guessing.
Where to start
Clear every Alpha Aniimo you have not beaten yet, since it costs no energy. Run Faded Rainbow twice each week and do Elite Pathfinder. Collect the eight open world petals as you explore, and put your Lumen Amber into the main branch. While Windchasers Departure is on, use its 'How to obtain' section to find the Iris Petal sources you have missed.
