Irisalis dash and self-revival: Whirling Blossom Rain
Irisalis can still dash on an empty stamina bar, which matters most in Egg Heist. Her flower revival brings her back once every 180 seconds. Here is how to use both.
The short version
- Irisalis can dash with her E skill even when her stamina is empty, so she can still get out of trouble in Egg Heist after the bar runs dry.
- Whirling Blossom Rain makes Irisalis spin and dash in the direction you choose, covering a lot of ground and firing several homing petal bolts in succession.
- Because her petals home in on targets, the dash you use to escape also deals damage. You do not have to choose between dodging and attacking.
- Irisalis has a passive self-revival: when she is defeated she turns back into a flower, blooms again and restores her vitality.
- The flower revival can trigger only once every 180 seconds, so a second defeat inside that window is final.
Most Aniimo pay for evasion with stamina. Irisalis gets a better deal. Her dash covers a lot of ground, it works even when your stamina bar is empty, and it fires homing petals on the way out. That makes her one of the easier picks to keep moving when a fight drags on.
She also has a second safety net. If she goes down, she turns back into a flower and blooms again with her vitality restored. It has a cooldown of 180 seconds, so you should know when it is ready.
This page covers those two tools: Whirling Blossom Rain as a dash and a weapon, and the revival passive that backs it up. It also explains why the dash matters in Egg Heist.
Whirling Blossom Rain: a dash that attacks
Whirling Blossom Rain is the skill at the centre of Irisalis's kit. It makes her spin and dash in whatever direction you choose. That gives her mobility and an evasion tool in one button, and it covers a lot of ground, so one press gets you a long way from where you started.
The dash also deals damage. As she moves, Irisalis fires several homing petal bolts in succession. Because they home in on targets, you can dash away from a threat and still hit it. Most dodges cost you damage while you use them. This one keeps dealing it.
She also does not need to stand still between dashes. Irisalis can use basic and ranged attacks while moving, so you can keep attacking in the gaps between dashes.
Dashing on empty stamina, and why it matters in Egg Heist
The most useful detail here is that Irisalis can dash with her E skill even when she has no stamina left. Whirling Blossom Rain gives her an evasion tool that saves stamina. Other Aniimo would have to spend stamina on that dodge.
This matters most in Egg Heist, where stamina tends to run low. A creature that has used up its stamina is usually stuck: it cannot dodge, it cannot reposition, and it just takes hits. Irisalis can still dash out of the way at that point. If you take her into Egg Heist, treat the E dash as the escape you always have, and save your stamina for everything else.
The flower revival passive
Irisalis has a passive ability that lets her revive herself. When she is defeated in combat, she turns back into a flower, blooms again and restores her vitality. Nothing has to be pressed and nothing has to be set up. It triggers on defeat.
The limit is the cooldown. The revival can trigger only once every 180 seconds. So it saves you from one mistake, not two in a row. If you are revived, spend the next few minutes playing more carefully, because a second defeat inside that window is final.
The passive works well with the dash. A dash that works on empty stamina helps you avoid going down. The revival covers the times when you go down anyway. Between them, Irisalis is hard to remove from a fight quickly.

Where the clone combo fits
Irisalis's kit is built around fighting alongside her clones. The basic pattern is to create a clone, then use Whirling Blossom Rain repeatedly. Stat priority, awakening and the full clone rotation have their own build guide on this site. For this page, the point is that repeated dashing is how she is meant to be played, and the free dash on empty stamina is what lets you keep doing it.
Where to start
Play Irisalis by dashing a lot. Use Whirling Blossom Rain to reposition and deal damage at once. When stamina runs out in Egg Heist, the E dash still works. Keep track of the 180 second revival cooldown, so after one revival you know you have no second chance until it comes back.
