Lightweave Cosmetic Draws: Rates, Pity and Fragments
The featured outfit drops at 0.25% a pull, but 3,000 Lightweave Fragments buy it outright, and those fragments carry over after the banner closes.
The short version
- The featured outfit in a Lightweave draw has a listed rate of 0.25% per pull. It can drop at that rate before pity, but you should not plan around it.
- The featured Forest of Butterfly Dreams outfit can be bought outright for 3,000 Lightweave Fragments, which gives you a fixed route to the set that does not depend on luck.
- Lightweave Fragments do not expire when the banner ends. They carry over to later event exchange shops, so fragments you have not spent still count for something.
- The first milestone nodes on the progress track unlock every 10 draws, so those early draws always pay out something.
- Whether outfits are gender-locked is not settled. Premium outfits in particular may have separate male and female designs.
Lightweave is Aniimo's draw system for cosmetic outfits. The current draw is tied to the Forest of Butterfly Dreams event, and the outfit at the top of it is the one most people are pulling for.
The headline number is not friendly. The featured outfit drops at 0.25% per pull. What makes the banner workable is everything around that number: a milestone track, a fragment currency that does not expire, and a fixed fragment price for the outfit itself.
This page covers how those pieces fit together, so you can decide whether to pull, how far to go, and when to stop and buy instead.
What Lightweave is and what you pay with
Lightweave is a gacha draw for cosmetic outfits. In the Forest of Butterfly Dreams event, the draws are for limited-edition appearances, and you pay for them with Lightweave Tickets.
That sits awkwardly next to the game's own positioning. Aniimo's executive producer confirmed in June 2026 that Aniimo is not a gacha game and has no gacha banners. Lightweave is still in the game, and it still works as a draw for outfits. If you want the wider picture of what the game charges for, the cash shop and free-to-play guides cover it. This page sticks to the draw.
The 0.25% featured rate and the pool around it
The featured outfit has a listed drop rate of 0.25% per pull. It can drop at that rate before you reach pity, so an early hit is possible. Just don't plan your spending around one.
Most of the pool is other things. Tumblers, for example, are a possible pull result in the Forest of Butterfly Dreams draw, listed at 3.38%. That is still a small chance, but it is far more likely than the outfit. Expect your pulls to come back as items like these for a long time before the featured outfit shows up, if it shows up at all.

Milestone nodes on the progress track
The banner has a progress track alongside the draws. Its first milestone nodes unlock every 10 draws. Pulls that miss the outfit still move you along the track, so a session of bad luck does not leave you with nothing.
The practical point is to count your draws in tens. Stopping a few pulls short of a node leaves progress sitting on the track that you have not cashed in yet.
Fragments: buying the outfit instead of rolling for it
This is the part that matters most if you only want one thing. The featured Forest of Butterfly Dreams outfit can be bought outright for 3,000 Lightweave Fragments. That price does not change with your luck. However the draws go, it is the guaranteed way to get the set.
Fragments are spent in the Lightweave event shop, and the outfit is not the only thing there. The shop also sells other cosmetics, including individual costume parts. If you only care about one piece of a set, check the shop before you pull for the whole thing.
Fragments also do not expire when the banner ends. They carry over to later event exchange shops. So fragments you hold when the event closes are not lost. They are a head start on whatever the next exchange shop sells, which takes most of the pressure out of the final days of a banner.

What the Forest of Butterfly Dreams set includes
The Forest of Butterfly Dreams set includes a hairstyle as well as the outfit, so the look comes as a set.
Who can wear it is not settled. Cosmetic outfits are described as having male and female variants and as usable on any character regardless of gender. Premium outfits are also described as gender-locked, with distinct designs for male and female characters. If the exact design on your character matters to you, check the version that applies to your character before you spend anything.
Where to start
Treat the 0.25% rate as a bonus. The real plan is the 3,000 Fragment price. Pull in tens so you collect each milestone node, and stop when buying the outfit outright makes more sense than one more draw. If you only want one costume part, check the event shop first. Any fragments you have left when the banner closes carry over to later exchange shops.
