Mysterious Vendor and Curio Corner: daily rotating stock

The vendor's stock turns over at 4:00 AM server time and its rare items cost millions. Here's where to find it, what's worth buying, and how to keep a Curio Corner item.

The short version

  1. The Mysterious Vendor appears daily in Astra, including on Chill Street, and its random stock rotates at every daily reset at 4:00 AM server time.
  2. A mysterious vendor can also turn up inside Egg Heist dungeons, typically near an entrance or exit, so check the edges of the run.
  3. Five Tumblers cost 80,000 currency from the vendor, which is cheaper than Joff, and an Anipod Ultra costs 400,000 there.
  4. Rare stock such as Sparkling Cubes costs 3,000,000, and deals in general run from hundreds of thousands to millions of credits.
  5. The Curio Corner offers four random items each day, and you can lock an item so it survives the daily automatic refresh.

Aniimo has two shops whose shelves change every day: the Mysterious Vendor and the Curio Corner. Neither keeps anything for you by default. If you see something you want and walk away, it may not be there tomorrow.

The Mysterious Vendor is the one with the big price tags and the occasional rare item. The Curio Corner is smaller and quieter, but it has one feature the vendor lacks: you can lock what it is offering. This page covers where each one is, when it resets, and what is worth your money.

Where the Mysterious Vendor appears

The Mysterious Vendor appears daily in Astra. It is one of several secret vendors in the city, and one of them sits on Chill Street. All of these secret vendors have inventories that rotate daily, so finding one is only half the job; the other half is coming back.

The vendor is not limited to town. A mysterious vendor can sometimes appear inside Egg Heist dungeons, typically near an entrance or exit. If you are searching for a mysterious seller during an Egg Heist run, look at the start and the end of the dungeon rather than the middle. It does not show up every time, so treat it as a bonus when it does.

When the stock resets

The vendor's inventory is random and time-limited. It rotates at every daily reset at 4:00 AM server time. Whatever is on the shelf before that hour is gone after it, and a fresh random selection replaces it.

That makes the routine simple: check the vendor once each day after the reset. Because the stock is random, a quiet day tells you nothing about tomorrow. The rare items only appear occasionally, and the only way to catch them is to look.

Daily reset, server time

The Mysterious Vendor's random inventory rotates at every daily reset, so check after this time each day.

What the Mysterious Vendor sells and what it costs

The everyday stock is a discounted selection of catching items, upgrade materials, training supplies and a limited stock of growth fruits. Discounted does not mean cheap. The vendor's deals can cost hundreds of thousands to millions of credits, so it rewards players who have been saving.

A few prices are worth knowing in advance. Five Tumblers cost 80,000 currency, which is cheaper than buying them from Joff. An Anipod Ultra costs 400,000 currency here. Vein Essence turns up occasionally for credits. At the top end, the vendor sometimes stocks Sparkling Cubes for 3,000,000 in-game currency.

The vendor is not your only route to an Anipod Ultra. It also costs 200 in the regular shop, though which currency that is remains unsettled: it is listed as both Lumin Crystals and Glimmer. It can also be had for 20 vouchers in the item exchange. Which route suits you depends on which of those currencies you have spare, not just on the size of the number.

Five Tumblers from the vendor

That price is cheaper than Joff, so buy Tumblers here when the vendor has them.

The Curio Corner and how to lock its items

The Curio Corner shop offers four random items each day. Like the Mysterious Vendor, it refreshes automatically, and anything you leave on the shelf goes with the refresh.

The difference is that you can lock items in the Curio Corner store, and a locked item survives the daily automatic refresh. That changes how you shop there. If something useful appears and you cannot afford it yet, lock it rather than letting the next refresh take it away. Then spend the following days saving for it instead of hoping it comes back.

Where to start

Check the Mysterious Vendor in Astra once a day after the 4:00 AM server reset. Buy Tumblers there rather than from Joff, and keep a large reserve of currency for the days it stocks Sparkling Cubes or Vein Essence. On Egg Heist runs, look near the entrance and the exit. At the Curio Corner, lock anything you want but cannot afford yet so the daily refresh does not take it.
