Prismana Aniimo Exclusive Skills
Some Prismana forms come with a skill no one else can use. Others come with nothing but a new colour scheme. Here is what each one actually gives you in a fight.
The short version
- A Prismana is an exceptionally rare variant of a Nova-stage Aniimo of the same species, with a modified 3D model and an alternate colour palette.
- Prismana variants do not inherently have superior stats, moves, or abilities.
- Claw of Madness, on Grizbo's Prismana form, costs 10 EP and has 40 power. Prismana Glacy's Glimmer Shot also costs 10 EP.
- Prismana Ignitis's fiery dash rushes the target and raises base attack damage by 40% for 10 seconds.
- Prismana Turbo's Nebula Burst raises allies' Dark damage by 6% for 15 seconds.
- Prismana Panpanta's Water Cannonade applies five stacks of Water Debuff, which the base form's Water Cannon does not.
- Prismana Pawney and Prismana Scorchhowl have no exclusive typing and no exclusive skill. Prismana Magmarex has no exclusive skill.
A Prismana is an exceptionally rare variant of a Nova-stage Aniimo of the same species. It has a modified 3D model and an alternate colour palette. How far the change goes is not settled: the form is described both as a purely visual variant and as an empowered form that differs in more than appearance.
The part that is clear is what a Prismana does not do. Prismana variants do not inherently have superior stats, moves, or abilities. Rarity alone buys you nothing on the battlefield. What some of them do get is an exclusive skill, and that is where the actual power sits.
So the question worth asking about any Prismana is not how rare it is. It is whether it brought a skill with it, and what that skill costs.
The exclusive skills with hard numbers

Two of these come with costs you can plan around. Claw of Madness, a skill of Grizbo's Prismana form, costs 10 EP and has 40 power. Prismana Grizbo also unlocks an exclusive Dark-type skill.
Prismana Glacy's Glimmer Shot also costs 10 EP. Matching costs matter more than they look. If you are building a rotation, two skills at the same price slot into the same gaps in your energy curve, and you do not have to hold back for one and not the other.

The buffs, and how long they last
Prismana Ignitis has a fiery dash that rushes toward the target and increases base attack damage by 40% for 10 seconds. That is a big number on a short clock. It is a skill you open a burst window with, not one you press because it happens to be available.
Prismana Turbo's Nebula Burst goes the other way. It increases allies' Dark damage by 6% for 15 seconds. The number is smaller and the window is longer, and it points at your team rather than at you. It is worth having when someone else in the party is already doing Dark damage, and worth very little when nobody is.

Water Cannonade and what a rename hides
Prismana Panpanta's water-ball skill is called Water Cannonade. The base form has Water Cannon. The similar names hide a real difference. Water Cannonade applies five stacks of Water Debuff to targets it hits. The base form's Water Cannon does not.
This is the clearest case on the list of a Prismana skill changing how a fight plays rather than just how hard it hits. Stacking a debuff is setup, which makes the Prismana version useful in a team that can follow the setup up.

Exclusive typings on Stellarys and Volmantis

Two more Prismana forms bring a skill in an element their species does not otherwise reach. Prismana Stellarys possesses an exclusive Ice-type skill. Prismana Volmantis possesses an exclusive Light-type blade ability.
How Prismana typings work across the roster is the subject of the Elements and Skills guide, so take these two as the entries on this list and read that page for the wider system.
The ones that give you nothing extra
Not every Prismana pays out, and this is the part to know before you spend effort chasing one. Prismana Pawney does not possess an exclusive typing or an exclusive skill. Prismana Scorchhowl does not either. Prismana Magmarex does not have an exclusive skill.
That lines up with the rule stated at the top. Prismana variants do not inherently have superior stats, moves, or abilities, so when a form arrives without an exclusive skill, nothing else is quietly compensating. You get the modified model and the alternate palette. For some players that is the whole point, and there is nothing wrong with that. Just do not build a team around one expecting it to hit harder.
Where to start
Treat the exclusive skill as the reason to want a specific Prismana, not the Prismana itself. Grizbo, Glacy, Ignitis, Turbo, Panpanta, Stellarys and Volmantis bring something to a fight. Pawney, Scorchhowl and Magmarex bring a look.
