What does Emberpup evolve into?
Emberpup's evolution is unsettled: it is given both as evolving into Inferlupa, also written as Infernal Lupa, and as evolving into Flameruff, its gamma-stage form, on a line that continues to Scorchhowl.
This one is not settled.
Both versions are shown because the disagreement is itself information — usually it means the mechanic changed between beta builds.
Evolving Emberpup requires navigating a branching path with distinct forms.
Emberpup starts at the Lumen stage, which is the lowest evolutionary tier. Depending on your progression path, it can evolve into Flameruff, Scorchhowl, Scorch Child, or Inferlupa, which also appears under the name Infernal Lupa.
How to evolve Emberpup
Evolving Aniimo generally requires reaching a designated level, but certain evolutionary steps demand specific milestones. Some evolutions require unlocking distinct perks in the Pathfinder character talent tree.
To raise this family, defeat wild Emberpup, Flameruff, or Scorchhowl in combat. These battles yield Emberpup Dewdrop Crystals, which belong exclusively to this evolutionary line.
Branch forms and variant restrictions
Flameruff serves as the gamma-stage form and advances to Scorchhowl. Both of these evolutions gain access to Fire Bolt, a ranged skill used in the field to burn targets and unlock sealed chests.
Inferlupa forms a separate branch. If you evolve through Flameruff, only the base orange form can evolve into Inferlupa. Regional variants such as Highland Flameruff and Mountainwoods Flameruff cannot reach that stage.
Not settled: The game presents contradictory structures for this family across different builds, listing Scorch Child, Flameruff, Scorchhowl, and Inferlupa alternatively as a direct sequential chain or as mutually exclusive branch outcomes.
