Flameruff to Inferlupa: Unbroken Spirits and Night Stone
Inferlupa needs a Night Stone, six Unbroken Flameruff Spirits and The Warrior quest. The spirits drop only from Flameruff the Mighty, and only if you defeat it.
The short version
- To evolve Flameruff into Inferlupa you need a Night Stone, six Unbroken Flameruff Spirits and a completed Journey quest, The Warrior.
- One Flux Crystal can stand in for the Night Stone, but Flux Crystals cannot replace the Unbroken Flameruff Spirits.
- Unbroken Flameruff Spirits only drop from defeating Flameruff the Mighty, the elite daytime Gamma-stage Flameruff in the Inferlupa elite battle area. Capturing it gives you none, and ordinary Flameruffs never drop them.
- Only the basic orange Flameruff or Emberpup can become Inferlupa. Highland and Mountainwoods variants and Scorchhowl cannot.
- Perfect potential carries through evolution, so a perfect Inferlupa needs a perfect Emberpup or Flameruff with regen and break as its top stats.
Inferlupa takes more work than most evolutions in Aniimo. You need a quest finished, a stone, and a stack of a drop that only one creature in the game gives up. Miss any one of them and the evolution stays locked.
This page covers how to evolve Inferlupa: what each item is, where the Unbroken Flameruff Spirits come from, and which Flameruff you should actually be raising. The wider Emberpup line has its own guide on this site. This one stays on the road to Inferlupa.
How to evolve Inferlupa: the full requirement list

There are three things to sort out. First, the quest. Unlocking Inferlupa's evolution requires completing the Journey quest The Warrior. Finishing The Warrior on its own does not evolve anything, though. It opens the door and nothing more.
Second, the stone. Evolving Flameruff into Inferlupa requires a Night Stone. If you do not have one, a single Flux Crystal can substitute for it.
Third, the spirits. You need six Unbroken Flameruff Spirits. They are farmable, and this is where the time goes. The catch is that Flux Crystals cannot substitute here. The crystal trick covers the stone and nothing else, so there is no shortcut past the farming.

How to get Flameruff Spirits

Unbroken Flameruff Spirits drop from exactly one source: Flameruff the Mighty. It is a special elite Gamma-stage Flameruff that appears during the day in the Inferlupa elite battle area.
Three rules decide whether you get anything. You have to defeat it. Capturing Flameruff the Mighty does not give you a spirit, so put the Anipod away for this fight. The title matters too. Plain Flameruffs without the Mighty title do not drop spirits at all, however many you beat. And the drop is a low chance, rolled in place of an evolution stone, so a win can just as easily hand you a stone instead.
Put those together and the plan is simple, if slow. Go to the Inferlupa elite battle area in daytime, find the titled Flameruff, beat it rather than catch it, and repeat until you have six.
Which Flameruff can evolve into Inferlupa

Before you spend an evening farming, check that the creature you mean to evolve qualifies. Only the basic forms, Emberpup or Flameruff, can evolve into Inferlupa. Scorchhowl cannot.
Within Flameruff, it has to be the basic orange form. Regional variants such as Highland and Mountainwoods cannot evolve into Inferlupa. If your Flameruff is not orange, it is the wrong one for this job.
Emberpup is a fire Aniimo you are given at the very beginning of the game, during the opening storyline, and its evolution path branches, with one branch leading to Inferlupa. Exactly how that branch connects is not settled. Emberpup is listed both as evolving straight into Inferlupa (also written as Infernal Lupa) and as evolving into Flameruff, its Gamma-stage form, on a line that continues to Scorchhowl. The Emberpup line guide covers that split in full. What matters here is that a Scorchhowl is too far along to become Inferlupa.

Getting a perfect Inferlupa
Perfect potential carries through evolution. A perfect Helmut becomes a perfect Pawney, and a perfect Helmwhelp becomes a perfect Infergon. Inferlupa works the same way.
So if you want a perfect Inferlupa, the work starts before the evolution. You need a perfect Emberpup or Flameruff with regen and break as its top stats. Evolving a weaker one and hoping for the best will not get you there, and the six spirits are too slow to farm to spend on the wrong creature.
Where to start
Finish The Warrior, keep a Night Stone or a Flux Crystal ready, and make sure you have a basic orange Flameruff or an Emberpup, ideally a perfect one with regen and break on top. Then farm Flameruff the Mighty in the daytime, defeat it every time instead of capturing it, and stop when you hold six Unbroken Flameruff Spirits.
