Guides › Egg Heist eggs: how many spawn, where, and who gets them
What happens when you twine with an egg?
Twining with or picking up the egg in Egg Heist physically transforms the player into the egg, letting them travel inside it.
Carrying an egg requires you to twine with it, leaving you to roll toward safety instead of running normally. While in egg form, you lose your combat abilities. If enemies attack, you can untwine to fight on foot and retwine once the area is clear. To soften incoming hits while carrying, the Tough Egg upgrade provides a 10% damage reduction while twined with an egg.
Reaching certain wild eggs in the world requires using an Aniimo for traversal before you can pick them up.
Egg Heist Mode
Egg Heist turns egg twining into a core objective. The player who picks up the central giant egg transforms into it, leaving them defenseless and dependent on teammates for protection and escort until evacuation. Carried eggs must be brought to the boat and submitted by interacting with it.
Dying or fainting during an Egg Heist run causes you to drop your carried items, your backpack, and all equipped gear. Any successfully extracted eggs hatch into usable Aniimo.
Not settled: The full movement moveset while transformed into an egg during Egg Heist is not fully settled, with jumping and dashing confirmed but other actions still unclear.
