Aniimo PC and Mobile System Requirements
Minimum and recommended specs for PC, Android and iPhone. The 6 GB RAM floor on mobile is strict, and no MediaTek 6000 series chip is supported.
The short version
- On PC, the minimum is 12 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600. The recommended spec is an Intel Core i7-12700F or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, an RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800, and 16 GB of RAM.
- Aniimo Mobile needs at least 6 GB of RAM and does not run on devices with less. Android also needs Android 10 or later and at least a MediaTek Dimensity 1000-class processor. MediaTek 6000 series chips are not supported.
- On iPhone the floor is an iPhone 11 with an A13 Bionic on iOS 16 or later. The recommended model is not settled yet: it is listed both as an iPhone 14 Pro (A16) or newer and as an iPhone 14 Plus or newer.
- Both mobile platforms need at least 18 GB of free storage, and on first launch the game downloads roughly another 8 GB of resources.
- Aniimo needs a constant internet connection and has no offline mode, so you need to be online even when you play alone.
Aniimo is out on PC, console, Android and iOS. Most of the hardware questions come from the mobile side, because the phone requirements have hard floors. Below them the game will not run at all.
Below are the minimum and recommended figures for each platform, then the storage and connection rules that apply to everyone. Some details are incomplete. The minimum PC processor isn't listed, for example, and Apple's recommended model isn't settled. Where that's the case, this page says so rather than guessing.
PC: minimum and recommended specs
The minimum PC requirement is 12 GB of RAM and either an Nvidia GTX 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX 6600 graphics card. No minimum processor is listed.
The recommended spec goes up noticeably. It calls for an Intel Core i7-12700F or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X processor, an Nvidia RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 graphics card, and 16 GB of RAM. If your machine lands between the two tiers, the graphics card is the clearest thing to compare, because both tiers name one.
Android: the RAM and chip floor
Android is the platform with the hardest cutoffs. Aniimo Mobile needs at least 6 GB of RAM and does not run on devices with less. It also needs Android 10 or later.
For the processor, the minimum on the MediaTek side is a Dimensity 1000 or equivalent. MediaTek 6000 series chips are not supported, so check the exact model before you assume a recent budget phone will cope. The recommended processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or a MediaTek Dimensity 9200.
If you're unsure whether your phone qualifies, look at the About This Game section of the Google Play Store listing, which lists device compatibility.

iPhone: iOS 16 and an A13 at minimum
On Apple devices you need iOS 16 or later. The minimum supported device is an iPhone 11 with an A13 Bionic chip. The 6 GB RAM floor for Aniimo Mobile applies here too.
The recommended iPhone is not settled. It is listed both as an iPhone 14 Pro with an A16 chip or newer and as an iPhone 14 Plus or newer. Those are different phones with different chips. If you want a safe target, the iPhone 14 Pro or newer meets both versions.
Storage, the first launch download and staying online
Both mobile versions need at least 18 GB of available storage. That isn't all the game uses. On first launch it downloads more resources, about 8 GB on mobile, so leave room beyond the 18 GB or the first session will stall.
Aniimo needs a constant, active internet connection and has no offline mode. That applies even if you never touch multiplayer. The game is mainly a solo experience: most of its content can be finished alone, and the main story can only be progressed alone. Online co-op for up to four players is invite only, and it sits alongside cross-platform play and the Egg Heist PvPvE mode as optional extras. You still need to be online to play solo, so a phone with a weak signal is as much of a problem as one with too little RAM.

If your hardware falls short
Aniimo has been on Xbox Cloud Gaming since launch on 16 September. Your own machine doesn't do the heavy lifting there, so it's a way around a PC below the minimum spec. The connection rule still applies, and it matters more when the whole game is streamed.
Whichever way you play, you get the same game: over 90 basic catchable creature forms at launch, and a main story with voice acting in multiple languages.
Where to start
Check RAM first. On mobile, 6 GB is a hard floor, and on PC the minimum is 12 GB. Then check your chip against the lists above, and confirm it isn't a MediaTek 6000 series part. Clear well over 18 GB of storage for the first launch download. If your PC can't reach the minimum spec, Xbox Cloud Gaming is the fallback, as long as your connection is steady.
