The short version

  1. Infergon is the Fire-element DPS pick, Irisalis is a strong Grass main damage dealer, and Walito fills the DPS role on Earth teams.
  2. Helion and Lunara are both Light DPS (Light is also called Holy), so pairing them adds no elemental weakness that one has and the other lacks.
  3. Solaris, Stellarys and starter Lunara are all ranged damage dealers, and Solaris can cover the ranged damage role in Egg Heist.
  4. Grisbow is pure damage: it builds rage to enter Enraged Mode, which significantly increases its damage output.
  5. Ferocious Fang is a legendary, general-purpose held item that increases attack damage, which makes it the natural fit for attack-oriented DPS Aniimo.

A DPS Aniimo has one job: take enemies down. The roster gives you damage dealers across several elements, and a handful of them do it from range, which matters when you want your hitter out of harm's way.

This page sorts the damage dealers by element first, because that is how most players build a team. Then it covers the ranged attackers whose element is less of the story, the one Aniimo whose whole kit is about raw damage, and the held item that pushes an attack-focused DPS further.

Aniimo DPS by element: Fire, Grass and Earth

If you want damage from a specific element, start here.

Infergon is the Fire-element DPS. If your team needs fire damage, it is the name to build around.

Irisalis is a strong Grass-type main damage dealer. It can be built in that role as an alternative to Leaf, so if you have one and not the other, you are not locked out of a Grass damage slot.

Walito, which you will also see rendered as Waluredo, fills a DPS role, and that includes Earth teams. If you are building around Earth, Walito gives you the damage dealer that team needs.

Light (Holy) DPS: Helion and Lunara

Light is the element you will also see called Holy. They are the same thing, so do not go looking for two separate types.

Helion and Lunara are both Light DPS Aniimo. Because they share an element, neither has an elemental weakness the other does not. That cuts both ways. Running them together means you double up on the same strengths, and you also double up on the same exposure. Neither one patches a hole in the other.

Lunara is also your starter, and she is a ranged damage dealer. Her secondary role is not settled. She is given as a breaker who deals sustained holy and magical damage from the backline, using wide area spells for space control and damage amplification. She is also given as a healer. Either way, her damage comes from range.

Starter Lunara is a ranged Light damage dealer. Her secondary role is unsettled: backline breaker or healer.

Ranged damage dealers

Some damage dealers are worth picking for where they fight rather than what element they carry.

Solaris is a ranged damage dealer, and it can fill the ranged damage role in Egg Heist. If you are putting a team together for that mode and need someone hitting from distance, Solaris covers it.

Stellarys is a ranged attacker and a strong ranged damage dealer. It is a straightforward choice when you want reliable damage from the back.

Starter Lunara belongs on this list too, as covered above. That means you start the game with a ranged damage dealer already in hand.

Grisbow and Enraged Mode

Grisbow is a pure damage Aniimo. It has no secondary job to split its attention.

Its kit is built around rage. Grisbow accumulates rage, and once it has enough it enters Enraged Mode, which significantly increases its damage output. The practical upshot is that Grisbow gets better the longer it stays in the fight and keeps building toward that state.

Grisbow is a pure damage Aniimo. It builds rage to enter Enraged Mode, which significantly increases its damage output.

The held item for DPS: Ferocious Fang

Ferocious Fang is a legendary held item. It is general-purpose rather than tied to one Aniimo, and what it does is increase attack damage.

That makes it suited to attack-oriented DPS Aniimo. If the damage dealer you are building hits with attacks, Ferocious Fang is the item that leans into that. Because it is general-purpose, you can move it to whichever attack-focused hitter you are running instead of hunting for a separate item for each one.

Where to start

Pick your DPS by the element your team is missing: Infergon for Fire, Irisalis for Grass, Walito for Earth, Helion or Lunara for Light. Pairing Helion with Lunara stacks the same element twice, so neither one covers for the other. If you need damage from range, Solaris, Stellarys and your starter Lunara all do that, and Solaris covers the ranged slot in Egg Heist. Put Ferocious Fang on whichever attack-oriented hitter ends up carrying your damage.
