Break skill values: Nimbi, Luminelle, Pomawk and more
Pomawk's ultimate deals 44 break, Helion's Holy Storm carries a 150% multiplier and Turbo's Nimbus Burst lifts party break efficiency by 30%. Here is every named number.
The short version
- Pomawk's ultimate deals 44 break, and its core attack Wild Show is its main breaking tool.
- Helion's Holy Storm has a 150% break multiplier and pulls surrounding enemies toward its centre.
- Nimbi Burst raises the whole team's break efficiency by 15% for 20 seconds; Turbo's Nimbus Burst gives the party 30% once Shrouded in Mist is active.
- Rookie's Bouncy Sling makes targets take 15% more break damage for 15 seconds, and Inferlupa's Flameruff Spirit stacks up to 30% more break over 20 seconds.
- Luminelle's Spotlight Moment buffs Lightning teammates for 15 seconds, but its exact values are not settled yet.
Break in Aniimo comes from three kinds of skill. Some hit an enemy's break bar hard on their own. Some make the whole team better at breaking. Some make the target take more break damage from everyone. Then there are a few Aniimo that pay you back once the break lands.
This page goes skill by skill and gives the number wherever the game has one. Where a skill has no listed figure, it says so rather than guessing. If you want the full roster of breakers sorted by element, or the wider case for Luminelle as a buff support, those have their own articles on this site; this one sticks to the break values.
Skills that deal heavy break

Pomawk is the clearest number on the list. Its ultimate deals 44 break, which makes it useful for breaking on its own. Day to day, though, the work is done by its core attack, Wild Show, which is Pomawk's main breaking tool. Use the ultimate to finish a bar, not as your only plan.
Helion's Holy Storm is a spinning storm attack with a 150% break multiplier. It also pulls surrounding enemies toward its centre, so it does double duty: it groups a pack and leans on every bar it catches.
Magma Rex has no single figure attached, but it depletes break bars quickly even against enemies neutral to its element. That matters because it does not need a type advantage to do its job. Scorchhowl's big hit causes a large break, and Bouldus is an Earth support that also functions as a breaker, which lets you fit break into a team slot you were going to spend on support anyway.

Team break efficiency buffs
These skills do not break much themselves. They make everyone else break faster, which is usually worth more than one big hit.
Nimbi Burst increases the whole team's break efficiency by 15% for 20 seconds. Turbo goes further under the right condition: it uses Nimbus Burst after activating Shrouded in Mist, and in that state Nimbus Burst increases party break efficiency by 30%. The order matters. Shrouded in Mist comes first, or you do not get the 30%.
Luminelle's Lightning Surge raises break efficiency and boosts Lightning damage for the team. Her support skill Spotlight Moment raises the basic attack damage and BREAK efficiency of Lightning-type teammates (also called Electric-type) for 15 seconds. Its exact values are not settled yet: the basic attack bonus is either 17% or 27%, and the BREAK efficiency bonus either 10% or 16%. Either way it only helps a Lightning team, so build around it or skip it.
Luminel also boosts break, with her skill raising break efficiency to 24.

Skills that add break damage taken
The third group works on the enemy rather than your team. Rookie's Bouncy Sling makes targets it hits take 15% more break damage for 15 seconds. Land it before your heavy breakers swing, not after.
Inferlupa's flame skill, Flameruff Spirit, applies break stacks to the enemy for 20 seconds, increasing break by up to 30%. Because it stacks, the full value takes building; the 30% is the ceiling, not what one hit gives you.
These pair naturally with the efficiency buffs above. One makes your team better at breaking, the other makes the target easier to break, and they ask for different things from your rotation.

Payoffs for landing a break

A couple of Aniimo reward you for breaking rather than helping you do it. Breaking an enemy with Tubster (Tubsa) activates Concerto, which reduces the whole team's stamina costs by 30%. That is a team-wide benefit triggered by one Aniimo's break, so Tubster wants to be the one finishing the bar.
Scorchhowl returns some EP on the field. Its big hit both causes a large break and restores energy, so the same move that empties the bar also feeds your next skill.
Where to start
For raw break, lead with Pomawk's Wild Show and save its 44 break ultimate to finish, or bring Helion when enemies come in groups. Add a team buff on top: Nimbi Burst, Turbo's Nimbus Burst once Shrouded in Mist is up, or Luminelle if your team is Lightning. Open with Rookie's Bouncy Sling or Inferlupa's stacks so the target takes more. If you have a slot left, Tubster or Scorchhowl turns each break into stamina or energy.
