Luminelle: Lightning Support, Rainstorm Form and Spawns
Its buff values are still unsettled, its Prismana form heals with a laser, and its storm form waits in one cave on the edge of Tidal Blossom Coast.

The short version
- Luminelle is an Electric (Lightning) support. It raises damage dealt by Lightning-element allies, so it does the most good on a team built around that element.
- Spotlight Moment raises the basic attack damage and BREAK efficiency of Lightning teammates. The bonus values are not settled yet: damage is given as 17% or 27%, break efficiency as 10% or 16%.
- Lightning Surge restores 25.7% of your allies' energy and boosts Lightning damage and break efficiency for the team.
- Prismana Luminelle adds the Light element, becoming Shock and Light, and gains a laser that turns electricity into healing for your allies.
- Rainstorm Luminelle appears in a cave on the edge of Tidal Blossom Coast during rain or thunderstorms. Only one spawns at a time, once per heavy thunderstorm cycle.
Luminelle (also spelled Luminel) is an Electric support with a Prismana option. Electric is the same element the game calls Lightning. It hits nothing especially hard on its own. What it does is make every other Lightning Aniimo on your team better: more damage, better break efficiency and more energy.
The catch is timing. Electric-type Aniimo are unavailable for a long stretch of early progression and only become obtainable around the level 40 area. So Luminelle is not a starter pick. It is the piece you add once a Lightning team is already taking shape.
This page covers what its two support skills do, what changes in Prismana form, and where to find the rainstorm and Alpha versions.

What Luminelle does for a Lightning team
Luminelle increases damage dealt by Lightning-element allies. Everything else in its kit is built on that, which tells you how to use it. Pair it with other Lightning Aniimo, because a mixed team only gets part of the benefit.
Its support skill, Spotlight Moment, raises the basic attack damage and BREAK efficiency of Lightning-type teammates (also called Electric-type). It is thought to last 15 seconds. The exact numbers are not settled yet. The basic attack damage bonus is given as both 17% and 27%, and the BREAK efficiency bonus as both 10% and 16%. You can count on the direction of the buff. Do not build a damage plan around one specific figure.
Lightning Surge does two jobs. It restores 25.7% of your allies' energy, which recharges the team. It also increases break efficiency, boosting Lightning damage and break efficiency for the whole team. If you are asking what break means in Aniimo, the practical answer here is that both of Luminelle's skills improve it, so a Lightning team running Luminelle breaks enemies more efficiently than one without it. For how Luminelle compares with the other buff supports, see the main article on Fragrancier, Luminelle and Tromba.

Prismana Luminelle: Shock and Light, with a healing laser
The Prismana variant keeps Luminelle's electric side and adds the Light element, making it Shock and Light.
The practical change is a new laser ability. It channels electricity into healing light and restores your allies' HP. A plain Luminelle buffs and recharges the team. A Prismana Luminelle also keeps it alive, which matters if your Lightning team has no other healer.
How Prismana works in general, and which free Prismana to take, has its own article. The part that matters here is simple. If you want Luminelle to cover healing as well as buffs, the Prismana form is the one to aim for.
Where Rainstorm Luminelle spawns
The thunderstorm form, Rainstorm Luminelle, appears during rain or thunderstorms at a cave on the edge of Tidal Blossom Coast. Go inside the cave. It does not wander the open coast.
It is also scarce by design. Only one thunderstorm form spawns at a time, once per heavy thunderstorm cycle. If you arrive and the cave is empty, you have probably missed that storm's spawn, and you will need to wait for the next heavy thunderstorm.
Weather and time of day control a lot of spawns in Aniimo, and that system is covered in its own article. For Luminelle, all you need to know is: storm, coast, cave.
Alpha Luminelle and when you can catch one
Alpha Luminelle follows different rules from the storm form. It spawns only at night in the far south, and it arrives after a shooting star lands. If you see a shooting star come down at night in the south, head toward where it landed.
None of this opens up early. Electric-type Aniimo stay out of reach for a long stretch of early progression and become obtainable around the level 40 area. Plan your Lightning team for that point in the game, and treat Luminelle as the support that finishes it rather than one that starts it.
Where to start
If you run Lightning, get Luminelle once you reach the level 40 area. Use Spotlight Moment and Lightning Surge for damage, break efficiency and energy, but do not trust any single buff figure until the values are settled. Go for the Prismana form if you want its healing laser too. For the storm form, wait for a heavy thunderstorm and check the cave on the edge of Tidal Blossom Coast. For the Alpha, watch the night sky in the far south for a shooting star.
