How to start a bloom nurture and turn in energy

One nurture, start to finish: pick Infuse Energy on the map, clear the Attract Aniimo waves without missing a target, then hand the energy in at the bloom.

The short version

  1. A nurture starts on the map. Choose Infuse Energy, and the map shows you which Bloom to visit and lets you teleport straight to it.
  2. The Attract Aniimo step spawns waves of creatures native to the region and tied to that bloom. You have to capture them.
  3. Catching every target Aniimo during the Wild Surge is what unlocks the option to release the energy at the zone's flower.
  4. To turn the energy in, interact with the bloom tree. That fills its energy bar and substantially raises the area's Prismatic Energy State.
  5. Joining another player's bloom counts too. The regional prismatic energy is shared and still goes up.

Nurturing a Bloom is how you cultivate a region and raise its Prismatic Energy. It is also how you attract the Prismana Aniimo tied to that region. The second part has its own guide on this site. This page covers the run itself: what you press, what spawns, and what you have to do before the bloom accepts your energy.

Every nurture has the same shape. You start it from the map, you catch what the bloom draws in, and you release the energy at the bloom when it's ready. The one step you can fail is the middle one, so most of this page is about that.

A bloom nurture from start to finish
  1. Infuse Energy on the mapSelecting the nurture option shows the Bloom to visit and lets you teleport straight to it.
  2. Attract AniimoThe Bloom summons waves of creatures native to its region that must be captured.
  3. Catch every targetCapturing every target Aniimo unlocks the option to release the energy at the flower.
  4. Release the energyInteracting with the bloom tree fills its energy bar and expels prismatic energy.
  5. Region energy risesThe area's Prismatic Energy State rises substantially and Prismana Aniimo can spawn.

Starting a nurture from the map

Blooms sit at fixed locations, and each one has a Bloom icon on the map. You don't have to hunt for them.

To start a nurture, open the map and choose the nurture option, Infuse Energy. The map then shows you which Bloom to visit and lets you teleport directly to it. Use the teleport. Walking there only delays the part that matters.

The Attract Aniimo waves

Once you activate the Bloom with Nourish, the nurture moves into its Attract Aniimo step. The bloom summons waves of creatures. They are native to that region and related to that particular bloom, so the spawns change depending on where you nurture.

These creatures are targets, and you have to capture them. Defeating them doesn't count. During the Wild Surge you need to catch every target Aniimo in the zone. Missing even one leaves the release option locked. Carry enough capture tools for the whole run and keep track of which targets are still loose before the waves thin out.

Releasing the energy at the bloom

Once every target is caught, you can release the prismatic energy by interacting with the zone's flower. On the bloom tree, interacting turns in the energy you collected during the nurture and fills its energy bar.

Some nurtures run on a timer. When the timer ends, you go back to the Bloom and release the energy there, and the biome's level rises as normal. In both cases the steps are the same: fill the bloom, then release it once it is full. That release expels prismatic energy and substantially raises the Prismatic Energy State of the area.

What a finished nurture gives you

Each completed nurture charges the area's prismatic energy bar. Nurturing is the primary way to generate Prismana Flow. When you nurture a Bloom with Vein Essence, its local prismatic energy fills, which triggers a Prismana event and spawns Prismana Aniimo. That is how the region-tied Prismana forms are attracted and caught. Whether nurturing is the main way to get Prismana or one of several is not settled yet. The farming guide covers that loop in full.

You don't have to own the bloom to contribute. Nurturing and joining another player's bloom both raise the regional prismatic energy, and that energy is shared. If someone else has already started a nurture nearby, joining them still moves the region forward.

Where to start

Start each nurture with Infuse Energy and use the teleport. Treat the Attract Aniimo waves as a full catch: every target has to be captured before the flower lets you release anything. Then turn the energy in at the bloom tree, and join other players' blooms whenever you can, because that energy counts for the whole region.
